Daleko ispod kategorije
Pros:

Hotel je smješten na odličnoj lokaciji, svega nekoliko minuta hoda od strogog centra grada. Pogled iz hotela je predivan, osobito iz viših katova. Osoblje je vrlo ljubazno i susretljivo, a sam hotel je lijepo i ugodno dekoriran.
Posebno valja istaknuti prostranost soba, čija je kvadratura više nego zadovoljavajuća, kao i činjenicu da svaka soba ima balkon, što je svakako veliki plus.

Cons:

Pojedine stvari hotel ove kategorije nikako si ne bi smio dopuštati. Prije svega, čistoća soba nije bila na očekivanoj razini, a tepisi u hodnicima hotela su u izrazito lošem stanju. Hotelu je očito potrebno renoviranje i bolje održavanje, kako u sobama tako i u zajedničkim prostorima.
U sobi smo zatekli raskliman minibar koji nije bio u funkciji, loše izvedene i istrošene silikone u tuš-kabini, a tijekom tuširanja je u više navrata iznenada nestajala topla voda i tekla isključivo hladna. U bazenu nedostaju pločice, što predstavlja ozbiljnu sigurnosnu opasnost jer su rubovi vrlo oštri.
Posebno zabrinjava činjenica da fen u sobi nije bio ispravan – prilikom korištenja gotovo se zapalio, počeo je dimiti i širiti neugodan miris, što smatram potpuno neprihvatljivim.
Što se tiče hrane, na doručku i večeri pojedina jela bila su nedovoljno kuhana, praktički sirova (npr. krumpir), dok se kod večere moglo primijetiti da su neka jela stara i vrlo vjerojatno podgrijavana. Također je razočaravajuće da hotel ove kategorije ne nudi svježe cijeđene sokove, već isključivo industrijske sokove iz tetrapaka, pri čemu se jasno osjeti njihova nekvaliteta.
Smatram da ovakvi propusti ne doliče hotelu ove kategorizacije. Odsjedali smo u hotelima niže klase koji su u svakom pogledu nadmašili razinu usluge i kvalitete ovog hotela.

Perfect weekend retreat.
Pros:

Our stay at Hotel Admiral was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly and professional staff who made us feel truly valued as guests and even gave us free room upgrade.

The location is perfect — right by the famous Lungomare promenade, with breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. Our suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with modern amenities and a beautiful balcony view that made every morning special.

The breakfast and dinner was rich and varied, offering fresh, high-quality food for every taste. We also enjoyed the wellness area and pool, which were ideal after 20.000 steps by the seaside.

What really stood out was the excellent service and attention to detail. Everything was well organized, peaceful, and elegant, making the hotel perfect for both relaxation and romantic or business trips.

We would definitely return to Hotel Admiral and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Opatija.
