The riverside location.
Room was spotless, bed was comfy. Staff were great. A very good choice at breakfast. It is dated but that didn't matter as everything else was fine. We had an evening meal in the restaurant. And compliments to the chef it was so tasty and plenty of it.
Nothing

Nice breakfast and the room was comfortable. Thank you for a nice stay.
Limited parking but we were able to find a park.
Available parking was taking over by the charging stations which made parking a little uncertain.
Lovely friendly helpful staff. Comfy bed. Great breakfast selection.
No decaf t-bags in room. No lift.
A good location near the centre of town.
The night porter lady was polite and apologetic and tried her best to source some heating.
It was cold with no heating, it was 5degrees outside but the heating was turned off, we resorted to leaving the hairdryer on to warm the room.
The extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisey as was the fan in the room next door.
In general the hotel was tired and in need of a good refurb and deep clean.
Not a lot.
Whilst the reception and lounge were in a good decorative order, our room left a lot to be desired. There had been a flood from the room above at some point and there was quite a bit of staining on the bathroom ceiling. There was staining under the hand basin as well. In a part of the country where it doesn't get dark at night, you'd expect blackout curtains.....instead, our curtains had a few hangers missing along with the stops at the end of the rail. These curtains were pointless. We opened the window and discovered the wooden frame was totally rotten at the bottom. How they managed to get paint to stick to a surface like papermachae was a feat it it's self. Whilst breakfast was ok, the plates were far too small. They were big enough for say an egg and a rasher of bacon only. went I tried to pile a few things on my plate, it led to an annoying experience of items falling off onto the table whilst cutting things up. You need a bit of elbow room with a fry up!

Received a warm welcome from the receptionist. She was very helpful. She allowed us to store our bags as we were too early for check in.
The bar staff were friendly.
The hotel was walking distance from the train station and close to bars etc.
The breakfast was ok - we have had better but had worst!
We had been out for food and was looking forward to a night cap in the bar only to find it was closed at 10.00 pm!!
Really cleans and all the staff were friendly
