Beautiful building, warm, great night sleep and the staff were personable, friendly and welcoming.
Could do with an extra coffee machine in the breakfast room.
Clean friendly and very helpful
Nothing
Lovely place. Lovely grounds staff were friendly and polite.
Shower was to small. And think they let to many people in spa. Jacuzzi was always to full and lucky got seat by the pool.
The hotel was very nice and the staff polite but all went wrong when in the Spa.
Paid for my partner and I to use the spa and have a massage. Spa was full of children jumping in the pool, a swimming lesson was taking place and the staff were condescending when we spoke to them.
We have stayed here before so had expectations as to what to expect, but all members of staff exceeded all expectations due to their friendly, professional and dedicated commitment to customer satisfaction.
While food was excellent, well cooked, presented and served and always used quality ingredients.
Nothing, just looking forward to our next stay at Oulton Hall.
The hotel was really nice and very well kept.
The staff were really nice and friendly and all spoke and smiled throughout the stay, they were very welcoming. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of food for all you could want and the restaurant for the evening meal was very reasonable in price and the food was good. Having the use of the spa was great. The grounds were beautiful.I highly recommend this hotel
Very pretty location, the communal hotel areas looked fab.
Great staff, very friendly
Hotel rooms dated, not super clean and poor condition
Hotel pool had swimming lessons on, not relaxing. Not super warm pool
The facilities here are amazing
That is had to leave early in the morning
Room and bed very comfortable.
Overnight stay including breakfast & use of spa good value for money.
Hotel amenities very good & it's a fun place to stay. Restaurant staff very friendly and attentive.
Breakfast was very average, sadly: bread quite stale, eggs cold, coffee awful and croissants dry.
It’s charm and beautiful exterior and interior. Furnishing and stylings were exquisite. A lovely escape for the weekend.

Beautiful stay, loved the room.
The restaurant is really, really poor. £40 for a fillet steak which came with frozen chips. Really disappointing birthday meal. Wish I had gone to an alternative restaurant. Would be more likely to stay again knowing the restaurant had improved.
I had the most amazing stay at this hotel and from the check in staff to the restaurant staff. Everyone made me feel welcomed which added to my experience.
I found the manager to be very rude and dismissive when I simply came down to as if anyone had a lighter. It cost nothing to show kindness and respect to paying guess and I think he needs to reevaluate his behaviour when dealing with people and that he doesn’t treat others the same.
It’s a stunning property
Sometimes it was miscommunication about availability of upgrades and what had been paid for?
The property was immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our stay was so much better as we had our 3 dogs with us. We shall definitely stay again!
Nothing
I liked it all the superior room is so worth it
Not a whole lot to do
