Very frustrating
Pros:

Staff tried their best to deal with the situation. Although they charged my son's card when I had already checked him in, meant there were three different charges that all had to be refunded. The breakfasts were good and so were the staff in the breakfast room. It's close enough to Georgetown, we chose it for the location. The staff Ray and others did their best to help us and rectify the problems.

Cons:

The hotel is still under renovation. Hotel is negligent about protecting staff and guests from fumes and dust from adjacent construction. There are building code violations and OSHA violations galore. Never will use booking.com again for any stay, cannot change reservation after making, there was a lot of passing the buck between booking.com and the Royal Sonesta. There is no lobby while under renovation, staff is standing at makeshift desks and breakfast is in a conference room. One of the block of rooms was musty. My mother was not given an accessible room. I complained to booking.com, they gave a voucher toward a future stay, which is not helpful at all, since I will never use them again. I would say avoid hotel at all costs, until they complete their renovation, and then tread lightly.

não recomendo, em obras, atendimento não cordial, quartos com carpetes que tem cheiro forte.
Pros:

Unica coisa positiva dessa pessima experiencia foi a localização.

Cons:

ao fazer a reserva nao fui informado que o hotel esta em reforma. O quarto que reservei deveria ter vista para a cidade e fomos colocados em um quarto com vista para restos de obra da construção e reforma que o hotel esta passando. O hotel praticamente nao tem lobby. A cama tinha um declive e também o quarto tinha um cheiro ruim provavelmente devido ao carpete. Além disso o atendimento não era cordial. Não sou de reclamar, mas isso frustrou inclusive a experiencia com o Booking porque criou uma expectativa que foi completamente oposta. Não recomendo esse hotel e ficarei atento caso for reservar novo hotel por aqui.

I appreciated the courtesy extended by all staff. They professionally worked through the discomfort of having to route quests to the second floor as renovations were ongoing.
