Hotel Girasole

Un hotel carino e curato, ha un bel giardino dove poter fare colazione e una bella piscina usufruibile tutti i giorni dalla 9 alle 19.
Camera curata, con tutto il necessario, ben pulita con un bel balconino.
Staff gentile e professionale.
Colazione varia e ben assortita.
Parcheggio auto comodo e all’interno della struttura, macchina non in strada e con una tettoia per il riparo dal sole, con costo sicuramente contenuto per la zona (10 euro al giorno).
Posizione lievemente fuori dal centro, in una mezz’ora a piedi si arriva a marina grande, fattibile ma può essere un bel po impegnativo con il caldo, quindi è da tenere in considerazione. La fermata dell’autobus è comunque a due passi dall’albergo.
Sicuramente un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per Sorrento.

The friendly staff, clean rooms and the swimming pool! The staff couldn’t do enough for us and everyone was so friendly! The pool and pool bar was perfect too!

Great pool area and location

This hotel is a little gem. The staff are so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The food was really good. We had just booked bed and breakfast but, after eating evening dinner on our first night, we decided to have more evening meals there. It was a good decision. We ended up eating there every evening and never had the same meal twice. It was beautifully cooked and presented and so tasty. There was always a choice of starter, main and desert - totally spoilt for choice. There was a good wine list too at very reasonable prices.
The grounds were lovely: a garden surrounded by lemon and other citrus trees and a lovely pool area surrounded by citrus trees and other flowers. The pool area was kept spotlessly clean and the water was crystal clear. There was a pool bar where soft and alcoholic drinks were sold and tasty snacks were available again at very reasonable prices.
The bedroom was comfortable and clean. Toiletries were supplied and replenished regularly.
We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay there. The centre of Sorento was about a 20 minute walk away with little shops and cafes dotted along the road which was very busy. This did not detract from our holiday though. I can fully recommend this hotel.

The hotel room was a little old fashioned as is the hotel, but it was absolutely charming. There is a lovely quiet garden with lemon trees as well as a separate swimming pool and lovely garden with a quiet beach bar. The staff were extremely kind and helpful.

Vi är mycket nöjda med hotellet och med vårt rum högst upp i huset med utsikt åt tre håll bl.a mot Vesuvio. Balkong med möbler som två personer fick gott om plats att sitta på. Hiss finns. Bra med kylskåp på rummet.
I receptionen togs vi emot med mycket bra service av Mino med genomgång av karta och sevärdheter.
Trevlig, lummig gård där man kunde äta frukosten utomhus. Okej frukost med äggröra, men bara en sorts bröd och massor av sötsaker.
Ett bra poolområde med solstolar och liten bar. Solvärmd pool som kom upp i 21 grader under vår vecka i maj.

It was our second visit to the hotel and we had another wonderful stay. We like that it is situated on the flat, a 20 minute walk into Sorrento square with a beautiful view of Vesuvius. It is a lovely family run hotel and everybody is friendly and helpful. The pool area is so pleasant and not overcrowded and the snack bar is great. We look forward to returning again.
