Please note that double or twin rooms are allocated according to availability at the time of check-in. Please note that guests should provide their personal information at the time of booking if they wish an invoice with VAT. Please note that half-board includes drinks and the menu that guests can choose must be part of the Daily Suggestions. Please note that the use of a bathing cap in the swimming pool is mandatory. Caps can be purchased at the reception of the property's Health Club.

Good despite malfunction in the gym

This was my third visit to this hotel over the past two years. In the past it was "exceptional", the food (dinner) at the restaurant "probably the best I've ever had" - which I wrote in my comments here - now it was just "good". My only minor comment last time was a malfunction of the elíptica in the gym, despite promises it had still not been fixed one year later. Because I have a muscular condition I always book hotels with a gym and even have a similar machine at home, so it's important for me. I mentioned it to a manager and they promised to send me an email once it has been fixed, because I won't come again otherwise.

Decent for a 3 star hotel, not 4
Pros:

Pool/Spa opening hours are great and there's free parking.

Cons:

The bed was terrible, the mattress needed to be replaced a long time ago. No options for coffee or snacks outside of restaurant hours (a hotel without coffee available in Portugal is surprising). Although there is a spa menu/messages there was no masseuse.
Mediocre breakfast for a 4 star hotel.
It looks overall a bit run down although very clean. Particularly the windows/glass partitions in the halls that could allow for a great view outside looked very unkept.
