Top of the town views and 60's charm in Taormina
Pros:

Our room had a stunning view of both Mount Etna and the coast of Taormina. The room's terrace was large and we also appreciated the pool, also with great views and a very relaxing place to be. The buffet breakfast was served on another lower terrace with a choice of sunshine or shade. The hotel has great 1960's charm and period features with modern comforts. Also, it is sighted away from the main crowds. Another bonus is the sister hotel on the beach offering free access to their beach club sun-lounges, towels and a beach umbrella. There is a chargeable shuttle to this, or walk as we did.

Cons:

The hotel is at the top of the town; great view but lots of steps to access.

Wundervolle Aussicht mit nettem Personal - immer wieder eine Reise wert
Pros:

Die Lage und Aussicht waren wunderbar. Frühstück auf der Terrasse geniessen mit Ausdicht aud das Meer und den Aetna

Cons:

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, verleiht ihm aber dadurch einen gewissen Scharm. Dusche/Badewanne wäre unbedingt zu erneuern.

Charmant, eindrucksvoll und gastfreundlich.
Pros:

Sehr charmantes Hotel, wunderschöne Lage, top Aussicht direkt auf die Etna. Der Pool ist auch sehr angenehm, neben dem Garten und mit Meerblick. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert. Zu Fuss sind alle Restaurants super erreichbar , auch der griechische Theater. Unsere Familie war begeistert und sehr zufrieden.

Cons:

Der Lift ist etwas älter und könnte grösser sein.

Ho apprezzato la pulizia, la sua posizione, lo staff cordiale e la possibilità di avere a disposizione una spiaggia privata.

Cons:

L'arredamento datato anche se in buono stato. Lo stabile avrebbe bisogno di un ammodernamento.

Couldn"t wish for a better place to stay in Taormina
Pros:

Staff were absolutely amazing. Always friendly and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. The location, with views towards Etna and the sea were incredible. Rooms were spacious enough for two people and their baggage. Even though some might find the bathroom a little dated, it was clean and everything was in good condition. Lift was a little small, but all part of the charm. Breakfast, thanks to choice, quality, service and the views was a perfect start to every day. Pool was great; in a wonderful position , above average size , and the water temperature was perfect.

Wonderful hotel, with an amazing view.
Pros:

What a beautiful hotel. Charming 60's era decor, wonderful and welcoming staff, and probably the best breakfast location on the patio I've ever seen. The view is breathtaking. Great pool also. Would definitely return.

Cons:

It's a few streets back from the main street, which is nice and quiet, but up a number of stairs. It's what makes the view so good but may be a bit more challenging for those with lesser mobility. Was fine for us though as good to be out of the busiest area.

Charming Hotel Lost in Time — Not for Luxury Lovers
Pros:

If you’re looking for a swanky, ultra-modern hotel with all the mod cons, this isn’t the place — but if you want to step back in time, relax, and enjoy a hotel full of character, it’s perfect. Choose the right room and you’ll have a large terrace with stunning views of Mount Etna. The air conditioning worked well for us. The pool area and gardens are beautiful and peaceful, ideal for unwinding. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the town, and the staff are very attentive. Having on-site parking was a real bonus.

Cons:

The bathrooms are a little small and sometimes have a faint sulphur smell, but this didn’t affect our stay.
