This place is great, very clean and the staff is outstanding.
Pros:

The best thing about this property is the staff. They go above and beyond. The breakfast was also really good. The pool was fabulous.

Cons:

The property is a bit dated, but clean. It could use some updates. The beds were a little hard and the rooms not as cool as we are accustomed to, even in other hotels in Italy.

Classic wonderful hotel close to the center of town
Pros:

Wonderful staff. Beautiful view of ocean and a nice deck. Pool on roof was a nice thing at end of a day of touring

Fantastic Hotel with true character and charm in a fantastic location.
Pros:

The hotel has a somewhat dated style but this only adds to the charm. The location is perfect, close to the restaurants and bars of Taormina but in an elevated position that ensures stunning views over the bay. Staff were attentive and helpful at all times. Pool is beautiful.

Cons:

I can't criticse the hotel in any way. Perhaps a little more hot food choice at breakfast - but that is being really picky.

Hotel mit traumhafter Lage!
Pros:

Traumhafte Lage mit Blick auf Ätna und das Meer. Superschöner Pool mit atemberaubenden Ausblick, sehr freundliches Personal, haus mit Charme. Immer wieder gerne.

Cons:

Zimmerausstattung/Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Lage und Aussicht

Cons:

Ausstattung und Pflegezustand, Stand 1960er Jahre. Bäder und Sanitäre Anlagen,
starke Geruchsbelästigung aus Abflüssen.
Diese o.a. Zustände führten dazu, daß wir nach einem Tag (gebucht war vom 1.6-3.6.2026) vorzeitig abgereist sind.

Fantastisk udsigt fra terrassen hvor man spiser morgenmad, Skøn udsigt til Etna. Dejligt poolområde med smuk udsigt. . Værelse med dejlig stor terrasse med sol og havudsigt.

Cons:

Om aftenen foregår der ingenting. Kedelig morgenmad. Den mindste elevator jeg nogensinde har set.

Comfortable hotel, with excellent location and views, great pool and lovely staff...
Pros:

The staff were really kind and helpful (reception, breakfast, helping parking car, etc).
We had a great stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable; although the decoration is dated, the room is large and comfortable, very nice shower and comfortable bathroom. The views from the room and from the bathroom were spectacular with side views to the sea.
Breakfast was great, good variety and in a lovely terrace with sea views + Etna views.
Location is great (5-10 min walk to Taormina's high street and restaurants).
The swimming pool was also great, with spectacular views.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and come back.

Cons:

My husband didn't find the bed comfortable, slightly worn mattress.
Otherwise everything was perfect!

Das tolle Personal und die Lage, ein Traum!
Pros:

Traumhafte Lage! Wunderschöne Poolanlage! Soooo tolles Personal, so persönlich engagiert und interessiert- ein besonderer Unterschied zu vielen anderen Unterkünften

Pros:

View from room was amazing.
Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The hotel is quite old. The bathroom was very tired. The Air conditioner outside our room was continuous and very noisy.
The breakfast was adequate.

Great staff and great location. All round excellent value for money.
Pros:

Great staff - very helpful, and kind to deal with at all times. Location is ideal, being just a short 5min walk to the central thoroughfare in the town (Corso Umberto). Everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable during our stay (in May). And the views from our fifth floor room overlooking Taormina were absolutely exceptional. Overall, although the decor is a little dated, this didn't bother us in the slightest; and we thought the hotel offered fantastic value for money. So, many thanks to everyone at the hotel for facilitating our wonderful stay. Grazie Mille, Ciao! K&D.

Cons:

Please bear in mind that the hotel (like so many in Taormina) is located on a hillside, so those with limited mobility may need to consider door-to-door travel arrangements in order to avoid the public stairwells that need to be traversed when going into and out of town. We're in our 40's and managed without issue - but Taormina is a very hilly (and beautiful) place!
