Best place to stay in Madrid
Pros:

I have stayed many times at the Icon Wipton in Madrid and every time I’m so happy to be there! Pablo, Enrique and everyone at reception make us feel at home and are always helping us with everything we might need. The location and breakfast are fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Madrid.

Pros:

It was exceptional stay at Icon Wilton, great location and great people. Mr. Pablo was really friendly and helpful as well as all staff on reception & room service. I will definitely come back

Zero flexibility
Pros:

I informed the hotel in advance (8 days) about an airline-initiated flight change and requested to remove one unused night from my reservation.

I was not canceling my stay and fully intended to honor the remaining nights. Still, the hotel showed zero flexibility, insisting on charging for a night I would not even be present for, despite having sufficient notice and the clear possibility of reselling the room.

This experience was extremely disappointing and says a lot about the hotel’s approach to hospitality and customer care. Flexibility and understanding in situations like this should be basic standards, especially when the guest is still staying at the property.

Unfortunately, this lack of consideration has completely changed how I view and would recommend this hotel.
