The food was just okay, room cold
The breakfast buffet was an absolute feast...with champagne and a great variety of fresh juices. The weather was perfect, so we sat at a table outside overlooking the beautiful Franschhoek mountains, the pool and the lush garden.

As we were celebrating our 56 year wedding anniversary a surprise was placed in our room, thank you very much & much appreciated.

Parking - clear instructions from staff member on 1 way system as we were doing 3 point turns.

The breakfast and high-tea were great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Upon arrival in our room, the bin had not been emptied from the previous guests and gave off a nasty smell. However, this was quickly attended to once reception was informed.
This post will be at the bottom of all the reviews soon so the truth will be covered. Or banned by TripAdvisor due to honest content. Carpet dirty and threadbare. Show leeks so bad floor covered in water. There go 3 towels they claim they "green". Did not replace the one shampoo bottle (yes 1 for 2 people) as times are tough when u steal R8 800for 2 nights stay. The TV is useless, old and out of focus. I think 5 channels work (it was a sporting weekend) The poster bed sits smackin front of screen.
Breakfast omelette raw. They cannot even cook an omelette.
They do offer coffee at breakfast, once you leaving. Aircon did not work. Either 38°C or a noisy 34°C. Sauna level with engine noise. They tried to fix, but it Cape Town - NOTHING.They don't want happy customer is their mantra because cape has an over demand problem so why should they care for locals. Chill. TRIPADVISOR Always deletes scathing honest reviews. So this be gone soon. Only want cream and scones reviews
Nothing. Should change their name from Dream Resorts to Nightmare Resorts
Carpets dirty and threadbare. Do not replace soap in shower. Breakfast - omelette raw. (A 5 star hotel cannot even cook an omelette) Shower leaks that the floor is covered in water. The aircon ineffective and so noisy. TV is so ancient it is out of focus. I think if they had 5 channels it was a lot. This hotel is cutting back on every area they can and 3 charge top dollar. Once bitten.....
