My stay at the Occidental Hotel was genuinely exceptional from start to finish. Everything about this place exceeded expectations. The breakfast was outstanding with a great variety, fresh options, and a relaxed atmosphere to start the day right.

The staff were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive — always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. One of the highlights was the spa experience. We managed to get a special offer for €90, which included a Turkish bath, massage, and face mask — absolutely worth it. The whole experience felt luxurious, and the complimentary coffee was a lovely extra touch.

The room itself was spotless, thanks to the excellent housekeeping team. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, making it easy to fully relax and unwind. What really stood out was the honesty and care of the staff — I accidentally left my coat behind, and they safely kept it for me to collect on my next visit, which says a lot about their service and professionalism.

Overall, this was a flawless stay. If you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, great service, and a touch of luxury, Occidental Hotel is a perfect choice. I will definitely be returnin

Great hotel at a convenient location
Pros:

I have stayed in Barceló and Occidental hotels and Occidental Taksim only confirmed that it’s a great choice. The receptionist Doğukan was really warm and welcoming, the room itself was spacious, clean and stocked with amenities as well as a sweet welcome treat. I didn’t get to use the other hotel facilities but I’m sure that they’re kept to high standards.

Good location , Closer to the Center . Rooms were spacious and beds were comfy .

Cons:

Outdated interior. Very basic look & costly not up to the mark of Barcelo group. Toilets are tiny with sewerage smell . Firstly Toilet seat was broken had to request it twice & overall hygiene was not good . Lighting was very poor . Not enough sockets in room . One of the rooms had no mirror . Half of the toiletries were empty . Breakfast was bland . Lobby was dead and smelly . The hotel doesn’t did justice to its name & charging comparing to it nearby hotels offer more services in way less price . They need to update and renovate it . Highly disappointed !! Don’t go on reviews please !

Pros:

The hotel has an excellent location. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Special thanks to Osman from the reception who was very kind and helped us with the check-in a lot, and to the piccolo from the hotel. Thanks also to Melisa and Efe.

The cleaning crew makes a lot of noise. When they clean the room next to you they talk loud to each other en they bump all doors and walls with the vacuum
