Will always stay here on visits to the area.
Pros:

The breakfast was exceptional. The Buratta and Buritto Bar was both wonderful and great. Definitely not expected.
The pool area was wonderful as well.

Pros:

Room layout was superior! So many extra touches - ceiling fan, quiet ac/heat, well stocked kitchenette, bed was very comfortable, patio off the breakfast area to pool area very special!

Cons:

Distance to room, room was cold, curtains blowing from outside wind, had to unplug refrigerator in night due to loud grinding noise in night, safety lock did not work on door.

Spacious and Comfortable Stay, but Disappointed with Cleanliness and Extra Charges
Pros:

My initial impression of Homewood Suites in Brighton was positive, the property is clean and spacious when you first walk in. The suite layout is great for longer stays, with a well-equipped kitchenette (fridge, stove, dishes, dishwasher, microwave, dining table), a comfortable living area with a sofa, armchairs, and a TV, and a separate bedroom which adds privacy. The gym was also well-equipped and a definite plus.
Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Unfortunately, my experience was let down by a few issues. I was charged more at check-in than what was shown on Booking.com, about $40 extra. Then I noticed additional fees at checkout (such as a hotel room assessment charge) that were never mentioned upfront. I was already half way to the airport when I received the invoice. I’ve booked many properties through Booking.com before and have never had unexpected fees like this.

Cleanliness was also disappointing. I found old food from a previous guest in the fridge when I arrived late at night. The next morning, when I informed the front desk, they didn’t seem very concerned and simply handed me a bin bag to remove it myself. The bathroom could have been cleaner as well, the bathtub was stained and the taps had noticeable water marks.

Overall, the space and amenities are good, but the lack of proper cleaning and surprise charges took away from what could have been a much better stay.

Too many pictures in the room

Bathroom sink counter was broken

Walk in shower door was hard to open. When open you couldn't shut bathroom door. A sliding shower door would of been a better fit.

Breakfast was really good. The hotel attended was really good. She kept everything stocked up on the breakfast bar so you didn't have to ask for anything. Very good service.

Pros:

I did not use the pool or hot tub or fitness room. However, the hotel is in excellent condition. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Our air conditioner was a little noisy but otherwise all the upgrades were wonderful. The breakfast was the best I ever had and we stay at hotels that serve breakfast frequently.
