Polecam na weekendowy pobyt w Bergen
Pros:

Świetna lokalizacja, bardzo wygodne łóżka, komfortowy i czysty pokój.
Przyjemny hotel ze smacznymi śniadaniami :)

Cons:

Wybrałam ten hotel głównie ze względu na zawartą w cenie obiadokolację, której podczas naszego pobytu nie podano z powodu strajku pracowników. Nie dostaliśmy w zamian za to żadnej rekompensaty :(

Location excellent and under normal circumstances would be great.
Pros:

The hotel was lovley and in a good position

Cons:

The staff was on strike so only management running the hotel. It was supposed to be with evening meal but that was cancelled due to the strike so not getting everything we had paid for. The room was very small which was fine but was struggling to find somewhere to put clothes as only small hanging space and no drawers. The management did well to keep it open.

Maga az épület régi , patinás, mégis a modern korszerű.
A reggeli és a vacsora is változatos , bőséges volt.
Délután kávé és süti is volt .

Beautiful Hotel, Welcoming Staff, Clean comfortable rooms, Sumptuous Breakfasts Outstanding Service.
Pros:

Although there was a citywide hotel and restaurant workers' strike the management of the hotel stepped up to the challenge admirably. We felt welcomed and appreciated. I was amazed at how smoothly everything went with such a skeletal crew. Special thanks to Hilda Berentsen, who isn't above serving coffee and clearing tables - with a big smile; Roza a treasure and we will never forget the 5 star hospitality offered by the Hotel Havnekontoret, in spite of the challenges.

Lovely hotel. Poor evening meal availability / options
Pros:

Lovely, gothic style hotel. Some great architecture - stairs and library / study area where quite something. Bed was comfy, room had everything we needed.

It's in a good spot, close to Bergenhus Fortress, but as it's towards the end of the (sort of) peninsula, whether it's in a good location would depend on what you want to do/see whilst in Bergen. Plenty of nearby shops worth a look, on the way to the centre, so we enjoyed it.

Cons:

The food and access to it in the evenings, was extremely disappointing. Our train (from Oslo, including Flåm Railway, etc.) arrived at around 20:45, meaning it was around 9pm when we got to the hotel. I appreciate this is late to catch dinner, but it was disappointing to not be offered a snack of any sort. We got a definitive "no, sorry the kitchen is closed", when we asked if anything was available. The following evening was no better... We didn't want to go out for dinner but had to... The only meal available was chilli con carne or salad... Whether you're omnivorous or a herbivore... It wasn't good... 2 or 3 hot choices surely is standard????

Pros:

O hotel é ótimo, muito bem localizado. Infelizmente o jantar estava incluído na estadia mas não foi fornecido porque tinha uma greve de funcionários, achei que deveriam ter dado um desconto na diária uma vez que o serviço não foi prestado

the hotel is truly home away from home in Bergen
Pros:

hotel has an excellent center location-everywhere we needed to get to was within a walking distance. The staff was exceptional and during a difficult moment ( a workers' strike) they managed to accomodate all guests. the breakfast was sumptuous and varied that everybody could find their own type of food. the tv in the room had a very good quality.

Cons:

the internet was sketchy sometimes , best downstairs only -but they arranged for us to have access to a special private conference room where we hosted guests and had our zoom sessions. the hotel team knew how to handle every difficult situation and we as guests felt they were always very empathetic to our situation.

Great place to stay in Bergen
Pros:

Staff were amazing! Really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was superb. Location great. The room was lovely and the bed was huge. All round lovely hotel with a great vibe.

Cons:

We weren't informed prior to our arrival of a strike that meant we didn't get dinner which should've been included. We had 2 emails in the week leading up to our arrival and no mention of the strike so we found out on arrival. It was even more disapointing as the breakfast was soo nice.

Pros:

L'emplacement, la chambre, le petit dejeuner

Cons:

En raison de la grève, absence de goûter et de dîner (alors que c'était compris dans le prix a la réservation) + pas de service de chambre, ce qui est embêtant avec un bébé qui porte encore des couches. Pas de dédommagement sous prétexte que nous sommes passés par booking !
Rien par écrit, tout par oral, donc pas de pièces justificatives....
