Very good, but not cheap!
Pros:

Lovely lounge area, fabulous breakfast, great location

Cons:

Dinner was cancelled because of the hospitality strike and we were offered no alternative nor any compensation

Lovely place, great staff.
Pros:

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was good and staff there were all wonderful. Woman serving coffee was outgoing and knew 4-5 languages!

Cons:

We encountered the time of a strike. So no dinner was provided. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate guests.

Nagyon jó helyen található a szállás. A félpanziós ellátás kiváló volt, az ételek finomak és változatosak voltak. Ha a jövőben visszatérünk Bergenbe, biztosan ismét ezt a szállást választjuk.

Very good breakfast. Comfortable room.
There was a hospitality strike during my stay . My room price was not decreased to react to the lack of dinner , which should have been included in my “half board”.

Cons:

Apparently, my room did not include a robe. The hotel includes a hot and dry sauna. I did ask about a robe when I checked in . It took over 24 hours to get a robe. Why would you not have robes in order to use the sauna . They do not have a spa . Why would you not include a robe in all rooms??

Prachtig hotel, super personeel.
Pros:

Tijdens ons verblijf was er in heel Noorwegen deze week een staking van het hotel en horecapersooneel, waardoor het hotel niet volledig op sterkte was. Desondanks heeft het wel aanwezige personeel geweldig werk geleverd en ons echt een fijn verblijf bezorgd. Complimenten voor dit persooneel !! Vooral de dame bij het inchecken en de gastvrouw bij het ontbijt hebben enorm goed gezorgd. De kamer was prachtig en mooi gelegen met uitzicht over de haven. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd met ruim voldoende keuze. Fijn hotel, mooi opgezet en mooie elementen in de bouw.

Cons:

Een goede parkeerplek is wat lastig. Wij hebben de auto wat verderop in een parkeergarage gezet (NOK 300/dag), waardoor je wel een stukje moet lopen, maar op zich is dat in Bergen geen straf.

The breakfast was excellent. The reception area has many different spaces in which to sit and is welcoming and comfortable.

We loved every minute of our stay in Bergen! We will definitely be back.
Pros:

The location was absolutely perfect. We walked to everything in the view was spectacular.

Cons:

Our stay included dinner for the four nights that we were at the hotel. Because of the restaurant and hospitality strike in Norway, we were not served dinner and we were not compensated so it cost us a lot more money that week then was planned because dinner was canceled for our family.
