Pros:

Nice lake side position a few kms out of town! Watch out for the floods! I stayed 10 days at $240 a night and there was no service, no cleaning during that time! Not recommended!

We understand that the recent flooding resulted in the property not being at its best & are sympathetic to the owners position however we were appalled to find the sheets had not been changed (evidenced by crinkled sheets, blood spots on sheets & pubic hairs). There was no one on site to change sheets so in an attempt to be able to manage hygiene we decided to turn the sheets over. When stripping the bed we had a large black beetle crawl out of the bed linen. We opened the linen cupboard to find very bad mould patch which in our view was unsafe. We did not sleep well & because of these conditions I had an allergic reaction causing an asthma attack. We intend making a formal complaint to the star rating and motel association.

Loved the back veranda with a nice view, room was comfortable and a good size, well located for town, without the hustle and bustle. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros:

The room was spacious and had everything expected for an overnight stay. Ability to sit outside rear of room, overlooking man made lake built for nesting birds.
Unfortunately the lake is currently a puddle due to drought conditions.
Not ideal for light sleepers due to highway traffic.
