Alfagar Village

Nice place tos stay for a vacation. Near to Albufeira and some good restaurants in the neigborhood which can be reached by walking. Appartment in Afalgar village ar prefect, clean ad just a short distance to the beach. The facilities (gym, swimmingpools, restaurants) are perfect.

My wife and l went to Alfagar in mid December for six weeks in order to get away from the English weather. Although it was super warm it was nice to see trees with leaves on and see colors of the bougainvillea. Being the close season the resort was nice and quiet which was just what we wanted. All the staff were very friendly, polite and friendly. The Bougainvillea restaurant was really nice and the food excellent value. Our one bedroom self catering apartment was spacious, clean and overlooking a pool that was lit up at night. We were next to the mini market that was very convenient and provided all of our needs. Overall the holiday was good value for money.

We have been coming to Alfagar Village since our children were young, and now they are teenagers, it remains their favorite winter destination. Every year, they still insist on returning to the one and only “Village.” While some might consider the village a little dated, for us nothing beats its beachfront location and breathtaking views. We found it cozy with cottage charm, and the apartments are always spotlessly clean.

We would especially like to thank Pierre for making our stay truly exceptional. He upgraded our two-bedroom sea-view apartment to a three-bedroom unit in the best location in the village. We have always stayed in sea-view apartments, but the view from apartment 2206 is absolutely spectacular. The extra bedroom also turned out to be very helpful, as my daughter caught a cold toward the end of our stay and was able to rest comfortably without affecting the rest of the family. We were truly impressed by Pierre’s dedication to hospitality and his genuine care for guests.

It was also a pleasure to see many familiar and friendly faces again, including Rachid and Omar at the buffet restaurant, Ines from Buganvilia, and of course Carlos, who once again worked his magic during the New Year’s Eve gala.

We noticed several positive changes during this specific visit:
• The breakfast buffet has moved to Prestige, offering a much more spacious setting and fresher feeling.
• A new live cooking station for eggs at breakfast and meat/fish grilling at dinner.
• Despite it being low season, there was a great variety of entertainment and activities for both adults and children throughout the New Year week.
• Renovation has begun in Block 4, and we are already looking forward to staying in one of the newly renovated apartments on our next visit.

Thank you for yet another memorable family holiday at our winter paradise, Alfagar Village. We look forward to returning again soon.

We've been coming since 2018 as a family although my partner has been coming since he was a young lad 20+ years ago and now I love alfagar just as much as he does, staff are always welcoming upon arrival and nothing is ever too much trouble, we mostly stay in sea view apartments as the views are stunning the apartments are well equipped I will say apartments are a little out dated especially the bathrooms so would be lovely to see some money invested into village and getting the apartments updated and modernised but regardless we will still keep coming to visit, hopefully we will see you in the near future!

This was last minute booking but what a choice! Such a wonderful hotel, with delicious food friendly staff and more! Location is absolutely dreamy! Would recommend to any family with children

Fantastic little apartment within reasonable travel distance from the main Albufeira resort. The hotel was clean, staff incredibly including helpful when booking taxi's to various locations for the holiday. Best holiday we've had as a family for a long time and such a great price. David at reception was amazing with us

This hotel is an absolute destination where everyone needs to go!! This place has multiple pools, sun-loungers , restaurants and slides. In the daytime they have a kids club, shows etc. we were staying in block 3. lovely apartment overlooking the sea and the pool. Amazing addition to the wristband with a key card on !!
You can go to all of the three hotels that are Alfagar all have lovely facilities!!

Had a brilliant time at this lovely resort. All of the staff were helpful and friendly from check in to the maintenance, restaurants, shops, cleaning and all of the staff around the complex. We stayed in a pool view 2 bedroom apartment, and we were really happy with the room we were given, getting the sun all afternoon was just perfect. the apartment was very large and comfortable with 2 bathrooms with hand wash /shower gel, and towels changed every 2 days. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and everything was spotless! the shop was just below our room which was really handy especially for our morning croissants! The pools were great with so much choice depending on what you are looking for, we spent most of our time at block one pool and the water was perfect for cooling down under the sun with plenty of sunbeds available. We used all the various restaurants in the evenings and the pool bars for takeaway through the day and they were all great. the beach wow it was stunning, with beautiful views from the top down to a lovely sandy beach it really was the icing on the cake for us. We loved everything about our stay here and would definitely love to come back!

The resort was a nice place to stay during our roadtrip in Portugal and Spanien. Good restaurants , several pools, tennis and playgrounds on the site and à shorts walk to the beach.

Great place for a family holiday or special event gathering. Something for everyone within the Alfagar properties. Beach was good but a bit of a climb back up the hill

Great place to spend a few days at. Friendly staff and amazing food and drinks. Place is very clean.

Excellent resort location near Albufeira. Nice apartments and great pools across the resort. Particularly enjoyed the Burganvilla restaurant on-site but Cafeteria was good too. Portobello restaurant less than 200 meters outside of the resort. Short walk, with steps down to a lovely beach where you can hire beds for 12 Euros for 5 hours.

We had an amazing stay at Alfagar Village, the facilities for families were excellent, and the ability to check in early and late was very much appreciated. The golf buggies to transport us and our luggage around the site was great too, as were the beautifully maintained grounds. Keep up the good work!

We had a fantastic holiday at Alfagar Village. The accommodation was spacious, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The resort’s facilities were excellent, with a great variety of pools to choose from, which was perfect for the whole family. Having direct access to the beach was a huge bonus.
The Bellux entertainment team were absolutely fabulous — especially Nina, Fabio, Claudio, and Ellio. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely personable, always making the effort to get to know each guest.
Overall, it was a brilliant family holiday, and we’d love to return!

Gorgeous resort. Very clean, comfortable beds, loads of pools, lovely staff- you don’t need to leave the village good shop on site. You can have a chilled relaxing holiday or a fun lively holidays with small kids in the fun zone.
This is my 4th time returning!

It is a beuatiful park But the chicken piri. Piri is NOT good and the wifi is like trash But the things you can do on the park is great

So this was our 2nd year in Alfagar and we love it. 3 hotels in one big complex that you can breeze between at ease. We were lucky enough to get a pool facing room this time that was lovely. Good mixture of entertainment every night between the 3 complexes. Also always clean if not aging slightly but nothing outrageous.Far enough away from new town that its no bother with younger kids and close enough to old town to be there in 10 or 15 mins by taxi. Staff are always good, some of the bar staff are so above and beyond its unreal. Some of the younger staff can be easily distracted but thats my only complaint. All in all we'll be back again some time. My only other gripe and this is minor but please reposition the pool table in the bar area. The amount of missed shots because there is no room was ridiculous lol. Properly love the place
