Sitting here right now listening to the fire alarm go off endlessly in the middle Of the night, supposedly a false alarm, just one of many things that are broken including the pool, the pop machine, the elevator and the air conditioning in my room. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Worst hotel I’ve stayed at in a lot of years
The pool was not open.
The pool was closed BY THE STATE. There was no staff and our room was literally right next to the elevator. The breakfast was lacking.
The rooms were nice and they were clean. Bathrooms could use a little update but overall fine. The rest of the hotel not so much. They don’t do a good job of cleaning the rest of the hotel. The elevator floor was dirty when we checked in on Thursday and still the same way on Sunday when we checked out. The breakfast buffet wasn’t always restocked in a timely manner. The floor also didn’t look like it was swept after breakfast service was over. They let us use the room to play games and we had to wipe the sticky tables down before we could sit down. The floor also had some food and hair that hadn’t been swept.
Rita (believe that was her name)in housekeeping was wonderful. She gave us extra towels and garbage bags when we asked. Can’t remember the girl that checked us in on Thursday around 1:30-2:00 but she was great in getting us rooms in the same area.
Pool closed, floors in room sticky, overall maintenance lacked.
The woman at the front desk checked us in and told us that the pool was not available. She recommended an alterative hotel with a pool as we had three kids and just came from Iowa for a funeral.
Booking staff will not process my reimbursement EVEN THOUGH THE HOTEL STAFF AGREED IT WOULD BE REIMBURSED.
Check the rooms. Mold on the window ac unit. We couldn’t stay the night. I expected a full refund and they only gave us a partial refund. Unacceptable
Booked a weekend trip with my family of 5. This includes three children. We booked this room excited to let our kids swim in the pool that was advertised on the website. We got there and waited in a short staffed line for about 30+ minutes to simply check in. Once we got to the counter the receptionist gave us the unfortunate news that there was no pool and that it had been down all summer. Im sure you can imagine how bummed the kids were. Well we decided that we didn’t really have a choice as hotels nearby would probably be booked on such short notice and settled for this hotel. We were then given our keys and proceeded to our room. We opened the door looking for some relief with my 1 year old on my hip and tired kids from the long trip and we opened the door to a room that had just been used by another family. It was filthy and everything was still laying all over the place. At this point we were very uneasy about staying here AT ALL and just tried to brush it to off knowing that they were understaffed. We went down and politely asked for a different room which we were given. We got to the new room and found GLASS on the floor, MOLD on the curtains, COBWEBS, DUST, SPILLED SPLATTER on the wall. We were frightened to even sit down. We went back down to the desk with our kids and scrambled to find somewhere else. THEN we were denied a refund! I will tell everyone not to ever go to this hotel. Very bad experience and complete waste of $500!! Do not go to Comfort Suites Hotel.
Staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean.
They advertised a pool, splash pad and hot tub. None of these were open and when we asked it was not available since Memorial Day. We stayed 9/11-9/14. Room had dirty carpeting, old couch and a toilet that was plugged. Was in town for a wedding and the wedding party stayed there. I would have left.
We booked using your website! And it never mentioned that the pool was closed for the last month! We booked the hotel for the pool! I will no longer be booking thru you guys!
I did like the fact that the shower head a handle to assist getting in and out of it. Due to my condition it could have been easy for me to trip over the tub and fall. I also like the room it was as described and it was close to an exit door so that we did not have to walk out all the way to the front. We are in a our room from the breakfast etc.
The check-in clerk was not very friendly me have just been having a bad night but I need two canes to walk and can't stand long so I had to push her a little bit and she didn't like that. I told her that we would be gone most hours but needed showers when we get back and asked that there be cleaned towels in the room not to worry about cleaning it otherwise. She made no mention as to they would or would it. They did not bring in any towels at all or clean room which was unexpected to be clean. Would be nice at their breakfast hours were posted in the room especially knowing that the weekend hours are different of course when we needed them cuz our work consisted of the weekend.
The hotel could use some updates, some minor things in the room made it feel not as clean as I prefer a hotel room to feel. But overall comfortable and a fine place to spend one night.
I
I love the fact that the outlet was so close to the hotel.
We went just so our kids could get the pool, but the pool was closed and never opened.
The room was decent.
The pools were closed and nothing was stated on the website. Also, breakfast the next morning was completely out of everything by 8am. No plates (they were out of them) and no milk to drink! Hotel located out in the boonies.
Pool was closed by the health department weeks ago and we didn’t find out until we checked in. Unable to get a refund. We had a large group of families staying there because the pool looked so nice. So disappointing!!!! Don’t stay there if you have kids!
