Hotel Continental Rimini

We stayed for one night. Very friendly welcome. Good breakfast. Parking available. Excellent restaurants nearby.

We stayed at Hotel Continental and truly enjoyed our time there. The hotel itself is beautiful and located directly by the sea🏖️🌊, which makes it perfect for a relaxing holiday. Our room and bathroom were very nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we especially appreciated the delicious breakfast and desserts😋

Beautiful hotel and most things as we had hoped! We booked a deluxe double as a family of 4 (with 2 teenagers) We were prepared for the room to be small after seeing other reviews and it was. 2 older children in bunkbeds.... one only just fit!
We made it work and it's not like you live in your bedroom when you're on holiday so was no problem to us! The room was nicely decorated and very clean. It was serviced daily and very thorough on the cleaning front!
The hotel staff are all friendly and we especially warmed to our regular waiter Alessandro. He made us smile every day and looked after us well!
You are allocated your own table for lunch and dinner which is nice as no stress about timing to get there as your table is yours for your stay! The food was delicious. Different selection every day, cooked fresh and topped up each time runs out. Plenty of pasta dishes to try, fish, meat and vegetarian options. Breakfast is good selection of lots of sweet and some savoury. Scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon daily. Omelettes made to order once a week (Would love to have seen that more often) also freshly squeezed orange available a couple of times.

Saturday had lovely seafood night. Also there was a cheese night which was good!

We booked a full board package that worked out well for us and included water and either a bottle of wine or a large bottle of coke per meal. We alternated between lunch and dinner and they bring any left over drinks back chilled for the next meal .

We were there for Ferrogosto but was a little disappointed as felt would be more of a celebration. There was a DJ by the pool but not many people attended so we left and went outside the hotel. Was brought water melon on the beach those days though , so that was nice!

The other 2 days that had entertainment had a singer, fire performer and a flamenco dancer. Both had a great atmosphere and the tables were full with people watching standing up. Would have liked a little more evening entertainment in general as when you're full board you're evenings are really based in the hotel.

We hired bikes outside the hotel and explored the resort. Also hired SUP boards on the beach for 20 Euros an hour. Reasonable cost and fun!

Our package included an umbrella and 2 sunbeds and again this was ours for the week. Beach staff great and gave the kids buckets and spades to borrow when we asked. (You're never too old for sand castles!) All in all would return without hesitation. Lovely relaxing week.

It's a 4 stars hotel, that's starting opinion.
Unfortunately, a bad experience occurred.
A room so little as adapted for garden dwarves, no chair, a shower room protected for a little one.
Moreover, starting from 8 am, work in progress by hammering and drilling up to the afternoon! Maybe 15 squared meters, a nightmare, for two days.
110 E per night, breakfast wad ordinary.
Absolutely, I don't recommend such a hotel.
No way to to move inside.

Cameretta singola molto piccola; bagnetto piccolissimo
con box doccia di dimensioni estremamente ridotte al punto tale, da non potersi insaponare, in più non vi era un rosone al soffitto, ma una derivazione con filo metallico e doccino manuale, non adeguato per un hotel quattro stelle.
Cibo nella norma, bravi e professionali i camerieri. Non ci tornerei.

I have booked 5 rooms for 8 nights at this hotel 3 months before our business trip. And after we have stayed several days at the hotel, in-between another conversation, they have told us that they will close the hotel in a few days and they will move us to another hotel for our last day. It was so unpolite that they haven’t informed us before. As I have learned from a friend, they were doing this every year for Expo visitors.
Moreover, they have offered us a dinner with fish to apologize because we do not eat pork at all. but when we got to the dinner, there was no fish. There was a creamy potato with fish. But you need a microscope to see the fish inside 😂
When we were talking about their dinner offer one night before, we have showed a picture of a seabass fish photo from google not to have a misunderstanding. They have said yes, there will be a grilled fish like seabass.
But there was only pasta and various cold salad-starter options.
When we have told this situation yo reception, they have blamed to saying a lie that they have not promised gor any fish. It was more disappointing that I have been accused of being a liar.. They have ruined that night of us.

We came from Zürich to Rimini, two years after our first visit in 2021 and looked a while for a good hotel (we stayed before in two 3* hotels). We read a lot about the Continental and decided to try it for 7 nights. We were traveling with a 4months old baby and our standars are usually quite high, so if you are a critic, this review would suit very well.
We chose the option with 3 meals and booked through the official website as they are offering complimentary Upgrade upon availability and best price compared to agencies.
The hospitality of this hotel is much better than many 5* Hotels we've been to, including the ones in Switzerland. The staff are overall super friendly, they make you feel spoiled and cared for.
The food is exceptional, varied, tasty and perfectly balanced. Both the waiters and the chefs are super friendly and would assist you without asking.
The chef Allessandro comes very often outside to present the dishes, explain how they cook them and answer to any questions/ queries, showing a lot of professionalism and class.
The housekeepers are always greeting and smiling, the rooms spotlessly cleaned every day.
The beach staff is very friendly and easy going. They try to organize the beach beds upon your requests and availability. We were greeted every time we came to the beach and left.
Obviously the management takes care of the staff and are understanding, which reflects in the quality the staff is able to provide to the clients.
They made such a great impression on us thwt we extended our stay to another 5 nights as of the third day here. We were super happy to be at the Continental and we will definitely come back, hopefully every year as of now.

this was the second time in this Hotel .. it just gets better and better..the food is simple but very very good..rooms are smaller but clean ..staff is friendly..location perfect beach front and town promenade just behind ..overall very very good

We stayed for a week and had an overall very good stay. The hotel is of a very good quality and the staff very friendly. The cleanliness was outstanding. The rooms perhaps a little small. The buffet style meals were ok, but not the best, but the restaurants around were very good. A very busy part of the beach front and quite noisy but that’s not the fault of the hotel. Good if you’re looking for a holiday with lots going on but not if you’re looking for a quiet, chilled time away.

Hotel pulito e confortevole in ottima posizione. Unica nota negativa il personale alla reception. Assolutamente poco cordiale ed accogliente. Maleducazione assoluta! Buon comportamento invece del personale di sala e quello della pulizia delle camere! Cordialissimi i bagnini in spiaggia

Myself, husband and 12 year old stayed here for one week half board.
The hotel is situated across the road from the beach. It is also near shops, restaurants and local amenities. There is a frequent bus service connecting to the town centre, railway station and other towns along the coast.
The lobby area and restaurant seem newly decorated. The room was just big enough for 3 people. The bathroom was big, although shower cubicle very small!?.
I did book a sea view room, paid a bit extra for it. To be fair we did have a sea view, but the room was on the side of the building facing another building, but you could also see the sea. Don’t know what you have to book to get the rooms at the back of the hotel which face squarely towards the sea??!! There was a balcony which you could stand on. But that was it. No room for a chair.
Air con in room was free and good. Safe in room free. WiFi in room and throughout hotel free.
There is also a small pool at front of hotel. Not much room to sit around it, maybe about 10 loungers.
Breakfast was usual. Cereals, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese, breads. Very nice.
Buffet for evening was plenty of selection. A “speciality dish” 4 nights out of the 7.
All in all nice hotel. Staff spoke reasonable English. They were helpful and polite.
Good base to explore. Also to relax on the beach.
