Pros:

Loved this hotel, will definitely be back again. Clean, spacious bedroom overlooking the golf course, given to me as a free upgrade. Lovely room service also

The room only had one big towel for two people.

Cons:

Bed was soft and lumpy. Room was tired.
Breakfast - plates were cold & small. Fried egg conjealed. Checked out without breakfast on 2nd day and went somewhere else.
There was a lot of maintenance going on.

Polite staff throughout. Very dog friendly. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast, shame there was no black pudding, just me saying that.

Cons:

Hotel appears to have been extended multiple times, the layout was odd, Small tight doorways and corridors and in places very dark and lacking atmosphere.
Hotel needs a refresh, wallpaper in our room was fulling away, some tables and chairs past their best and a bit dirty in places. lockers in the spa either broken or didn’t work properly. Everywhere was stuffy, no air con anywhere, no fridges in the rooms.
Some staff were great, others not very helpful. Although there seems to be lots of staff around, still had to constantly ask for service when in the restaurant

Wouldn’t stay again for the price I paid!
Cons:

Tried to charge me again after saying the payment didn’t go through the first time- it did go through!!! Service in the main restaurant for dinner took over 2 hours - we sat as a table of 4 the food took ages to come out. I had actually booked a deluxe room with a fridge - I was not put in a deluxe room with a fridge! After being out all day - my room key then deactivated and wouldn’t let me in having to go back to reception who said it was because my payment hadn’t gone through when it had!!!!!!
