The hotel is fine for what we want, comfortable bed and good breakfast and has a large car park
Pros:

Breakfast good, much better than years ago when we started to visit the hotel. The rooms are a reasonable size, at least one easy chair would be nice. Perhaps it was a family room that requires clear floor space for childrens mattresses (there was a mattress under the bed).

Cons:

Would be nice to have a couple of coat hooks in the room, nowhere to hang a damp coat except in the wardrobe with other clean clothes.

Friendly staff with good amenities just need a better cook
Pros:

Location was great for airport & hospital
Large rooms very comfortable

Cons:

The food wasn’t great .. we had prawn cocktail starters which were ok but a bit chewy and my chicken rice bowl I couldn’t eat as so dry ..
The manager did compensate with a free coffee and removed my meal from the bill which was nice of him but wouldn’t choose to eat there again.

It met our needs but we could have found better value in Bournemouth town center.
Pros:

Helpful, cheerful greeting at the desk.

Cons:

Breakfast was acceptable but not special in any way. The sausages in particular were tasteless and very fatty.

Pleasant staff, lovely room and I liked the feel of it being and a 'hive' for locals.
Pros:

I loved everything about the stay.
I was impressed by the staff and the 'feel' of the Village Hotel.
I am impressed at how they managed to give a 'professional' and 'truly personal' feel to the whole experience

Cons:

I was charged for 'room service' food. I would have rather given it as a tip. I was happy to get it myself.
