I have requested room with a bathtub, sent couple of emails to confirm and was advised day before arrival that it will be taken care of. On check in I was informed that hotel is going through the refurbishment and none of the rooms have bathtubs anymore. Not professional at all. Check out Receptionist was great.

Enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, and easy to park. Nice pub and coffee bar
Pros:

Bed really comfy and room lovely and clean. Unfortunately children were running around the corridors making a lot of noise for quite a long time into the evening. Not the best night sleep due to noise

Not what we expected at all. It should be made clear exactly who they are catering for

Very helpful staff

Cons:

Very basic menu choice and nowhere to go to eat if you didn't want to watch football. Nowhere to sit when not in your room. No disabled facilities

Ok for a business trip.
Pros:

Great location. Good facilities. Clean. Room was modern and comfortable.

Cons:

My room was close to the gym so I had a lot of noise and music. This finished late and started again very early. Didn’t get much sleep.

Modern, bright, comfy. Ideal for away football supporters staying overnight.
Pros:

Very modern, clean, bright and colourful. Staff very pleasant. Free parking. Ideal location for away football supporters. Great swimming pool.

Cons:

Room temperature slightly too warm and dropping the temperature didn’t seem to help.

Will definitely return
Pros:

Room was comfortable, staff were excellent, swimming pool and steam room was good and the food in the restaurant was very tasty (a little on the expensive side). We were leaving when the guy running the darts lanes gave us a free hour to play so we thoroughly enjoyed that too. Easy distance to the airport in the morning.

Cons:

Everything was enjoyable.

The bed was comfy

Cons:

Arrived after a long day travelling back from abroad. Booked the village for their food and bar experiences I have had at different locations. Checked in at 21:15 and told that the kitchen is shut,even though advertised much later closing. Told at 22:15 that the bar was closing too whilst staff moped the floor around us.
Reevaluating my future stays at The Village Hotel Group, unimpressed is an understatement considering the price paid.
