The location of Hotel Forum is ideal in that it is located just outside one of the main entrances to Pompeii. An added bonus is that the room included free parking (via the Hotel's parking pass) at a parking facility across the street. The staff was professional and friendly and the room was extremely comfortable. We would stay here again.
Excellent location. Friendly, courteous staff especially Paulomino who was incredibly attentive - a real credit to the team.
A lovely clean hotel, with large comfortable rooms.
The restaurant downstairs is excellent, and we chose to eat in there for our 4 nights stay, rather than the tacky looking restaurants in the town, and thoroughly enjoyed each meal.
Also the location is excellent, with the Pompeii ruins entrance opposite, and a 5 minute stroll to the main square.

Amabilidad en recepción
We booked this a year ago so had put a lot of effort in to finding the right place. The location was perfect for Pompeii and also restaurants and the train station. Breakfast was very nice and the attending waiter excellent always ensuring you had what you needed. The maids did a great job.
The room was such a disappointment. I think it was the worst in the hotel. We booked a twin room. The beds were comfortable but the furniture in the room was old and scruffy. Lack of shelving and the handle to open the wardrobe was the key with the whole lock just kept falling out. The view was of the bins and the roof of the kitchen. With regards to the bathroom the shower was within a very tall bath that was difficult to climb over for anyone under 6 feet so it made it feel quite unsafe. There was nowhere to store your toiletries in the bathroom other than in your toiletry bag on the floor. In addition the underfloor heating was on all the time and during the night the towel rail was scolding hot which made it very unpleasant within the bathroom. The air-conditioning didn’t seem to work as it was permanently at 24 to 25° so much too hot in the room and uncomfortable. When we told reception they said there was nothing what they could do and suggested we open the window. Unfortunately, we were right above the kitchen so it just made the room smell of food. Had we had a nice nicer room? I’m sure we would’ve loved our Stay there.. so I guess the lesson is spend more on the room as the other rooms we could see looked lovely
Location plus lemon garden
Some staff not professional, receptionist prefer to talk to friend on phone rather than serve guests - air con did not work in room
Restaurant ok for breakfast - not for dinner
My wife and I stayed here for two nights. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms were clean and good size for adequate room to move around. Hotel is located in the middle of Pompei, excellent location, and easy access to all the ruins of Pompeii. Breakfast was very good. Many fresh foods (fruits, yogurt, meat, eggs, cereals, etc..) to pick from and the waiter (I cannot remember his name) was excellent…….friendly and accommodating! The hidden gem of this place is the restaurant downstairs. We ate dinner there one night and our waitress, Dilletta, was fantastic. She is the granddaughter of the person who opened it up years ago and, I believe, now owns the restaurant. The meal was excellent! Service was also very good. Parking was across the street in a secure parking lot…..easy to park and walk back to the hotel. If we return to Pompeii, we will return to Hotel Forum…..definitely worth the money. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay there very enjoyable!
Excellent location. Great breakfast range. Our rooms were upgraded.
Restaurant for the evening was ok but would probably recommend visiting other restaurants in the area where possible.
Great location right across from an entrance to the ruins of ancient Pompei. The hotel is very clean, modern and has new technology for switches, etc. which was easy to use. The room was on the smaller side but very comfortable with a large shared terrace on an upper floor. It is in a quiet location even though very convenient to the town. The breakfast was excellent as was the staff. There is a garden filled with lemon and orange trees that was even gorgeous in winter. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to return.
Nothing bad to say about hotel forum pompeii, the staff are friendly and helpful, Luigi at the bar is very knowledgeable and helpful with great service with a smile. I would like to mention our cleaner Susan (suzie) who accommodated my bleach allergy, making sure it was not used so thank you and no dust or dirt to be found anywhere in this hotel. The gardens are filled with orchard trees of lemon and orange which is beautiful to look at and the calm atmosphere here is perfect for a relaxing time in pompeii but close to the ruins, eateries and shopping.
I cannot praise this hotel enough. The staff were exceptional and the rooms beautiful.
Absolutely nothing
We had a bad room and complained and were upgraded to the Royal Suite without additional payment. We loved it there!
Beautiful property and great room. Excellent breakfast and locstion. Highly recommend.
