Location, nice room, good shower, clean, good breakfast.
The location is excellent. The food is delicious. The view is stunning.

The rooms are not updated as expected, and the carpets are outdated and worn. The bathroom tiles are cracked, and overall, the room is not as clean as shown in the pictures.
Location is lovely on the lakes edge but only a short walk up into Ambleside. Rooms are comfortable, stylish and clean. Toiletries smelt beautiful. The food in the pub was delicious and served quickly.

Breakfast was lovely and delicious! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. All the locals and staff love dogs which is very ideal!
The rooms are nice and definitely big enough for two people and a dog - they’re just not the quietest being next to a main road! But overall a pleasant stay and we would come back.

Just one thing is that they didn’t have heaters in room.
