The location was amazing, right by the lake. The room was modern and cosy. Staff were very friendly. It was great that parking was included for residents.
Hervorragendes Bett in einem großen Zimmer in dem Dependance Gebäude. Sauber und in hervorragender Lage nur durch die Straße vom See getrennt. Das Water edge Inn hat einen traumhaften Biergarten auf einer großen Wiese mit wunderschönem Ausblick. Sehr ruhig nachts. Wir hatten Glück und haben einen Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Gebäude gefunden. Man registriert sich mit seinem Kfz-Kennzeichen im Pub und muss den Parkplatz nicht bezahlen.
The room was very spacious and clean and well equipped.
I stayed in the middle of a heatwave and there was no air con and the windows didn’t open. There was a small fan but not nearly powerful enough to cool the room.

Staff not professional at all I spent too much time to find some to check us in .....then a young lady come and was not good at all gave me wrong room did not tell me where I can find that room e aptly was having a door from outside while I spent hour looking for the door from inside like all other room ...and after hours we changed one room ......this is only thing at check in ...rather than this everything was nice and even reach to excellent.
Fantastic lakeside location with the best beer garden in the Lake District. We had a lovely big dog friendly room with easy access to outdoor space. Our second stay here and we can’t fault it.

320 pound for Cosy double for 2 nights.
No windows that can see out of. No window in bathroom, but ok.
Location great.
Breakfast- so many tables not cleared for next guest- got busy, rush, but still no where to sit. Had to ask for table to be cleared. Then to be wiped. Then not cutely. No glasses at juice station, no coffee cups.
Alarm went off -which is ok. But then asked to move from our seats in middle of eating as under seat storage was required for cup tops and serviettes, was not necessary.
Staff were laughing, joyful, but neglectful.

The location was perfect
We got there and it took a while to actually locate our room once inside I was very disappointed as it wasn’t up to a 4 star hotel
The bathroom was very tired and the light fittings were hanging out of the ceiling
I also ordered a bottle of champagne as it was my wife’s birthday but it never appeared until I had to go across the road to the pub to request it
Right on the waters edge, rooms were great, breakfast was excellent, bar meals were great too, staff were really helpful.
