Pet-friendly rooms are limited. A GBP 15 fee per pet per night applies and guests are required to inform the property in advance.

A 10% non-refundable deposit is taken at time of booking and full payment and rooming list are required six weeks prior to your arrival. Clean and spacious
Everything was great about the room but for me the restaurant that goes with it wasn’t to our taste unfortunately
The Windermere rooms were exceptionally comfortable and clean. It was across the road from the waters edge in where we had our breakfast and an evening meal. The menu was basic but well cooked. The situation is so picturesque overlooking Windermere lovely place to stay and we’d love to go again for longer.
We had no complaints at all happy with everything
The room was in good order and pleasing. Very clean. I loved the private patio outside with table and chairs. Great channel choice on TV. Wi-Fi good too.
Sadly, the door on the shower wouldn’t close, so I grabbed hold of handle and opposite side of door, tried to shut door gently and door came off track and fell towards me (heavy door for an oap!). Also, the shower mat wasn’t long enough, floor of shower very slippy. Tap felt awkward for a left hander. These are not complaints, just pointing out what happened to us.
Its was near boats & close to Ambleside
Not enough staff .
Room was nice and clean , perfect location for the boats to go to different places. Breakfast was beautiful and plenty of selection. Staff all friendly . Carparking all included.
Having to pay £60 for our 2 chihuahua,s to stay. That was my only negative.

Ottimo Hotel, con un Pub in cui cenare, bellissima vista sul lago. Camere grandi e spaziose. Pulizia ottima.
Location was excellent, just over the road from lake Windermere, in between ambleside and Windermere.
Room was big, clean and comfortable.
Only things that could have improved would be some coat hooks in the room to make storing coats etc easier.
Lake view across the way at the main hotel, staff very nice and very welcoming
Not necessarily the property but the area shut down at 9pmand all lights off in the lake view garden, sat outside and unfortunately seen rats running around close to the bar
The breakfast was excellent, the location perfect, room had everything to make the stay comfortable
The guests above us were extremely noisy at night, not much soundproofing in the annexe building so we were disturbed several times
It’s a great place, we’ve stayed there many times and will again. I understand things get used and get tired.
No doubt it will be put right . As the standard of the hotel is great.
The room we started in room 53 , the bathroom was poor , tiles coming off the wall , low pressure in the sink tap , just about enough to brush your teeth with .
Great location with good car parking and opposite the pub where food was excellent.
Can be a busy road to cross between the guest rooms building & the pub.
