Important information:

If guests smoke in the bedrooms, the hotel may charge the cost of up to one night's accommodation.

The hotel kindly requests guests to contact the property directly if they would like to check in with children.

It may not be possible to accommodate guests in the same room for each consecutive night of their stay.

Enjoyed our stay in a beautiful place.
Pros:

Beautiful location and loved the balcony overlooking the lake. Comfortable facilities, clean and plenty of storage. Good service in the pub and nice food.

Cons:

Bathroom door blocking access to the sink but not a major issue.

Comfortable, relaxing, and very welcoming.
Pros:

A wonderful welcome from the bar staff when checking in, with a full explanation of the facilities and how to download the Inn app for discounts and points, swapping housekeeping for free drinks on the 1st night. Time for breakfast and evening meal times too. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated with all the facilities needed for a lovely stay. The room was quiet, away from the road and peaceful.
The breakfast arrangements were good, a full buffet consisting of cereal, yogurts, fruit, juices. Also a full cooked options and specials too. Plenty of tea’s and coffees, all adapted for allergies or intolerances.

Good location - breakfast was ok but more choices would have been nice
Pros:

Convenient for where we wanted to be, stunning views from the pub, close to Ambleside town

Cons:

Little air coming into the room, no bathroom window you could open, ran out of breakfast items quickly - staff need to keep an eye on replenishing breakfast items - toaster takes too long and is positioned in the wrong place

Lovely hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Fantastic location on the lake shore, Really spacious, clean and contemporary room with a great shower. We arrived by Motorbike and felt that the parking was fine for them. The restaurant was great. The food was lovely and all the staff I interacted with were great and we all felt very welcome.

Cons:

A personal opinion but the mattress was not that great for comfort. The television was attatched to the wall but could not be turned to be seen from the bed. Both very minor things but they are my only negatives.

Pros:

Location was fantastic, Ambleside is beautiful and it was great to be right by the lake. Room was clean with a big shower.
