Amazing views from hotel and rooms, pool area and stairs to the sea- looks like you're in a movie!

Cons:

Bathrooms don't have functioning bathroom vantilation! There's something that looks like it but it doesnt work- they said its just a hole in the ceiling - there is no fan bahind it(or window),and it will air out when the wind blows! We thought they were joking, but the didnt! Insane

Alson mattress is extremely firm, too hard, you ache when you wake up

Det var skittent på rommet. Vi oppgraderte og det var skitten der også. Var drit i doen, hår på gulvene og dusjen var ikke vasket

Seaviews and location great.
Pros:

We were given a better Seaview balcony room after we complained our aircon wasn't working. The new location was great and the views stunning. I would go back.

Cons:

The fact that when the cleaner phoned through to the reception for us, they just said the aircon wasn't working. I would expect a room change immediately, I had to complain to get one.

A tired looking hotel that could use a makeover, but has gorgeous views.
Pros:

The Splendid Hotel is in a beautiful location, with a nice salt water pool.

Cons:

The property needs some love, a good makeover would help. Some beautiful plants at the pool, breakfast area. The beds were so uncomfortable and hard, and the sea area is not swimmable. To swim you must pay down the street at one of the payable beaches. The food at the restaurant was not very good, Caesar salad was with cream dressing, the pasta was strange.
It was not splendid but definitely more of a *** star hotel.

Poor Experience
Pros:

The view from this Hotel is breathtaking..From drinks on the terrace to the picture postcard view from the swimming pool.On check in we were upgraded from a standard room to a green room with a balcony . Delighted with this complimentary upgrade..Our room 212 was at the front of the hotel, it was a Saturday night and we were kept awake till the early hours with music from a bar accross the road.We complained twice that night but were told it wasnt in the hotel so not their problem.Not good enough in my opinion.
