All went well!! Breaakfast was great!
The smell of the room.
The place was completely filthy. I have been a road warrior for over 24 years. I have over 2400 nights in Marriott properties. Plus hundreds more in other chains. I have never stayed in such a filthy place. There were bugs all in the bathroom. We had to kill many. The next morning there were a bunch back in there. The carpets were stained, the refrigerator was rusty, and overall not clean. The 8 cops in the hallway dealing with a domestic situation as they were arresting people is not on the hotel but that didn’t help the overall situation.
I almost left and went down the road to a better hotel but we were already in bed when I learned about the bugs. So we slept and left early the next morning. I could and would never recommend this hotel to anyone. In fact, if anything I may proactively tell people not to even consider it. This hotel was not worth even $1 much less what I spent for the night.
Breakfast was good. The front desk lady was pleasant despite things out of her control. The breakfast guy was nice and accommodating. Very pleasant.
Vents black and full of dust.. needs to be cleaned.. had to change room, then smoke detector beeping constantly.. had to change room for second time.. roach crawling on front desk at check in.. changed room with kids and luggage. They came to my door 3x before 11am asking if I'm checking out. Even after saying I'm checking out a guy came to my door. Stains on furniture, needs to be cleaned or replaced. If I didn't repay before arriving wouldn't have stayed.
Location
Furniture in my room was dirty! Could not use the electric outlet on one side of bed, wouldn’t let you plug anything into 110 outlet. Lamp next to bed didn’t work because it couldn’t be plugged in. Light over kitchen sink was burned out. Morning breakfast was a joke. Only one item (waffles) for breakfast. I have start this hotel several times in the past and it was acceptable, not anymore.
The staff member made sure we received a refund.
Breakfast was nasty, location was unsafe, room was not clean, several broken aspects: wall, thermostat, missing lightbulbs, fridge.
Staff accessed our room without permission (over-riding our lock) and tried to let a stranger in our room.
