Dreadful. I could never recommend this hotel to anyone
Pros:

Breakfast was very good with helpful staff.

Cons:

Room was dreadful because the bathroom was open to the bedroom
There was a very dangerous step to the bathroom area which was not illuminated at night
There was no soap or fan in the toilet which only had a semi transparent door
The only window that could be opened looked straight into the next door neighbours kitchen
The room was situated in a ‘ garden’ but lacked privacy as the windows looked straight into a communal area outside and so had to be kept shuttered
Getting to the room meant negotiating steep stairways outside
It was necessary to wear outdoor clothing to come into the hotel for breakfast
There was only one sitting room chair in the room
This was all supposed to be one of the best rooms in the hotel… a junior suite.. yet the whole experience was like sleeping in a shack with bathroom facilities all open to view so completely lacking in privacy
This was the very worst experience we have ever had and the hotel should not be rated anything like 4 stars. I would give it nearer 2
Outrageously expensive, uncomfortable and a degrading, undignifying experience.
