Always a pleasure coming back to this hotel
Pros:

We are frequent guests at this property…we enjoy the room size as well as the cleanliness. Small and appreciative things , like the AC being on when we arrive means a lot to us . Fridge already on and cold is also much appreciated.
It is also the comfort in knowing that our accommodation at Casa Lucia Boutique is a constant we can rely on.

Cons:

Silly little issue…we had to fight with the soap wrapper …that packaging is quite difficult to open.

Pros:

Situé dans le centre de Merida.
Jolies chambres, grande salle de bain.
Piscine dans le jardin est très agréable.
Situé à deux pas des animations de la ville, l’hôtel est calme.
Petit déjeuné non pris sur place.

Location was excellent on Calle 60. Close walk to most events and great restaurants. Pool was an excellent place to hang after a hot day of touring.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel but some of the room facilities could have been better
Pros:

The location is excellent, our room was pleasant, the AC worked welll, we liked the pool and the pool area. The staff at reception were really helpful.

Cons:

The room was dark with an odd assortment of lights with switches all over the room. There were no coffee making facilities. The safe was broken.

Perfekte Lage aber miserables Zimmer mit schrecklichen Matratzen

Der Charme des Gebäudes und die Lage sind wunderbar! Waren zu Silvester hier. Auf der Plaza vor dem Hotel gab es eine kleine Feier. Das war wunderschön!

Cons:

Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Stadtblick und kleinem Balkon direkt auf die Straße. Das Personal war leider während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts sehr desinteressiert. Der erste Eindruck des Zimmers jedoch positiv. Sehr geräumig und hell. Das Ganze wurde aber schnell von einem muffigen Geruch überschattet. Aus dem eigentlich recht stylischen Bad kam leider eine Wolke der Feuchtigkeit, die sich als schimmelartiger Geruch im gesamten Zimmer verbreitete. Das Bett hatte die schreckliste Matratze, die wir jemals in einem Hotel erleben durften. Es war dermaßen durchgelegen, dass wir nachts komplett darin versanken und am nächsten Tag mit massiven Rückenschmerzen zu kämpfen hatten. Darüber hinaus hörte man im Zimmer die ganze Nacht lang ein penetrantes Surrgeräusch, dessen Herkunft sich nicht identifizieren lies. Vermutlich irgendwelche Generatoren oder Klimageräte am Dach des Hotels. Das hat uns leider zusätzlich den Schlaf geraubt. Mérida war wirklich wunderbar, die Lage des Hotels ebenso. Aufgrund des Zimmers und vor allem des Bettes waren wir aber trotzdem froh, dass wir nach 2 Nächten wieder abgereist sind.

I truly get to experience the true beauty and history of Merida, and it was an amazing trip

I really loved this property, which is right in the heart of Mérida’s main square. It’s very close to shops, restaurants, and several tourist attractions. Overall, my experience in Mérida was 10/10, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Mexico.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was the air conditioning. It was making a lot of noise at night, which caused my husband and me to wake up in the middle of the night several times.

Heerlijke kamers, en goede locatie.
Pros:

Het waren prachtige kamers we hadden een kamer beneden met onze 2 kinderen. Heerlijke bedden en kussen. Lekker schoon. en erg groot!
Zwembad Was ook fantastisch overdag is het heet in de stad dus hadden we ons hier vermaakt.
Goed de auto ook geparkeerd. en de locatie is echt midden in het centrum. er is wel live muziek op het pleintje ervoor erg gezellig maar wel gehorig als je vroeg wilt slapen.

Cons:

Dat het eten die we besteld hadden via jullie bij het zwembad echt niet lekker was. Erg duur, en echt toeristen eten. Totaal niet lokaal en kwaliteit.

Location; parking (at a cost); comfortable beds and pillows

Cons:

Wifi was very patchy - not good for a hotel in central Merida. Very awkward shower arrangement. Cats noisy at night (and smelly). One breakfast member of staff was incredibly moody and everything seemed a chore - shame as all the other staff were lovely.

Buena opción para hospedarse en el centro, pero te cobran el estacionamiento!
Pros:

La ubicación es muy buena. Fácilmente te puedes trasladar a pie a diversos puntos de interés del centro de la ciudad. La habitación muy cómoda y limpia.

Cons:

El servicio a la piscina tardó mucho en llegar ya que calculo que se demoraron mas de 30 minutos en ir a tomarnos la comanda de servicio. Adicional a lo anterior, nos cobraron $200 pesos por el aparcamiento en el estacionamiento por el día de estancia que estuvimos.

Great location, average stay
Pros:

The location was great - just next to Santa Lucia parque hence close to the main parts of the city

Cons:

1. My room seemed to be the darkest room with no natural light - the only windows opened to the lift/corridor so couldn’t be opened unless I wanted to have everyone see inside. It had a weird connecting door which was locked however still stressful for a solo women traveler. I had booked rooms that stated it would be looking to the park or interior hotel facilities but didn’t expect this.
2. The bathroom while fancy had a massive bathtub with huge stone steps and no anti slip protection - fair warning to anyone having knee issues or aging that they might not be able to get into it.
3. Didnt see any tea/coffee arrangements anywhere in the hotel - unlike the hotels in cancun and Mexico City where there were arrangements in the room and lobby
4. Didnt feel inspired to try the restaurant after the first ceviche I tried

Didnt feel it was worth the money I paid for the room

Pros:

The room was modern, had 3 arm chairs, quiet, small fridge. modern artwork in the room and in several public spaces. Full breakfast included the most decadent French toast with whipped cream!

super Lage direkt in Zentrum und am Abend wird die Strasse vor dem Hotel zur Fußgänger Der Innenhof ist eine ruhige Oase mit schönen Sonnenliegen.

Cons:

der Poolbereich könnte ein wenig mehr gepflegt werden. Die Zimmertüre ist wirklich fast eine Holztafel, entsprechend keine Abschluss für den Lärm, der auf dem zweiten Stock, leider sehr zu hören ist. Wir hatten Zimmer 31. Schade, dass das Frühstück nicht draussen serviert wird

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location with pool and courtyard!
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the plazas, restaurants and has a lovely pool and courtyard. The room was comfortable and spacious and we preferred a ground level room to be able to hang out by the pool with our coffee.

Cons:

Everything was great but the cost of the hotel per night is high compared to others around it of similar value.
