Pros:

We liked the location of the hotel. Walking distance to the wharf. Hotel staffs are friendly. Love the hotel breakfast, it’s delicious.

Cons:

We stayed on the second floor. So we can heard the traffic and people shouting occasionally at night. Overall, it’s still bearable.

Second stay at this hotel and would stay again
Pros:

Position of hotel was great, walk to plenty of restaurants, shops, beach pool. Room was very large, stayed as group of 3 adults, 2 double beds plus rollaway and still plenty of room, lovely bathroom with shower and bath. Balcony and sea view.

Regular stays here. Good location, facilities & bonus vouchers.

Cons:

Upon arrival after 2pm, my room wasn’t ready for ages. After complaining I was moved to another floor.

Incredibly noisy, couldn't sleep. A complete waste of money and time.

The beds and linens wrecked exceptional. The door and reception staff were wonderful.

Cons:

The noise was the biggest issue and it completely ruined our stay. We couldn't sleep, it was dreadful. Before booking, I rang the hotel directly because I was looking for a relaxing holiday while still being close to the city. I specifically asked about noise levels and was told that the suites were quiet, although they were fully booked. The staff member suggested I try Booking.com or a similar site to secure a suite instead.
I've stayed in the heart of many major cities around the world, which is exactly why I made a point of asking about the noise before booking. In all my years of travelling, I've never experienced a hotel being so inaccurate about what guests could expect.
Unfortunately, this property is not suitable if you're looking for a peaceful or relaxing stay. Based on my experience, I would only recommend it to very young travellers who plan to be out until the early hours of the morning.
