Lovely stay during Christmas
Pros:

Very good location and central. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Big spacious rooms with a lot of amenities. Parking was super easy.

Cons:

We were there during the Christmas weekend - unfortunately there was no housekeeping and all the cafes and restaurants were closed.

Great location!
Pros:

Super central location and the room was very comfortable. We enjoyed some time in the spa and pool. We had a late check in, and the instructions were clear and staff on the phone was helpful.

Cons:

We were here in summer and the room got very hot at night, even with the windows open. Unfortunately, there was no AC. There also was no working shower in the pool/sauna/spa area, meaning we couldn't shower between the sauna and the pool.

Great hotel with kids however, they need to ensure the cleanliness of the rooms.
Pros:

My room was a good size with a nice view. The hotel is in an excellent location and, the pool, sauna and spa facilities are great. The hotel was very child friendly.

Cons:

My room was not very clean. The bathroom had dust and hair in the corners and under the sink and grime at the bottom of glass in the shower and, the doona had a big yellow stain on it. Furthermore, the tea, coffee and towels were not replaced in my room when used or ready for a clean set.

I don’t think I would want to stay here again when I return soon because of the above issues.
Pros:

The staff were mostly friendly. I loved that my room had a view of Bourke street and that I could open my window for air. The shower was great and the bed was comfortable (although definitely NOT queen size as I was led to believe).

Cons:

When I arrived in my room it had no bottled water, no coffee/tea, no sugar and no towels. The toilet was extremely dirty and had clearly been used, which I found to be unsanitary and extremely unacceptable. Staff mentioned to me that the guests in the room next door must have used it after it had been “refreshed” that day. However, this should NOT have happened and all I was offered was a very short apology. Also, for the price of the room, after thoroughly comparing it to other rooms, accommodations and prices, was much too expensive (especially after walking into a filthy mess in the bathroom and finding it with nothing.

The location of Mt Buller Chalet Hotel & Suites is fantastic! 30 second walk to the main chairlift, a minutes walk to restaurants, bars and shops. The spa was also lovely to warm up after a snowy day.

Cons:

The rooms are quite outdated and need maintenance. Our toilet wasn’t working, but thank god my husband is a plumber and was able to fix it on the spot.

Highly recommend for families
Pros:

We had appartments room on level 4. Best panoramic view of entire mountain.

Pool, heated pool and spa were the best. We are regular visitors.
