Etwas abgelegen, aber für einen ruhigen, entspannten Urlaub genau das richtige.

We were given exceptional service from the moment we contacted the property asking for a 3 bed room close to amenities like the pool and restaurant as one of us was recovering from a broken leg. The attention given to us throughout our stay by all the staff was excellent. We had staff (management? And Sydney) taking us to a beach some ten minutes away themselves as we did not have a rental car and could not find a taxi ride to and from the beach. Martina, the receptionist was very helpful when initially our flight was delayed and our transfer to hotel was going to be affected), the pool staff and management staff made sure my friend was comfortable to enter the pool due to her still recovering from a broken leg. The food and cocktails were the best! We also had the most amazing massage ever, it was truly a restful holiday in excellent surroundings, with a great pool and lush surroundings.

Very friendly and a nice clean place. Nice pool. A bit of a walk to the beach 30 mins if your bit old. Need a car for other stuff, but there is a bus stop at top of hill, could be a tad pricey but I am quite tite. Helpful reception staff especially Martina.😀 ps Have to book restaurants nearby mostly

Il Monastero Hotel is a hidden gem—underrated yet unforgettable. The team goes above and beyond (huge shout-out to Patrizia for keeping everything seamless), and the beds are cloud-soft for a truly restorative sleep. The breakfast and dinner spread is fresh, varied, and delicious, and the warm, friendly atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Can’t wait to come back!

Enjoyed a 5 night retreat at this magical hotel, the energy felt amazing. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the staff very friendly and the food was delicious, with lots of choice for vegan and gluten free. The beach is a shortish walk away and was always quiet when we went.

I have to say I was overwhelmed with the beauty and authenticity of this place.

Its been beautifully preserved in its originality, and has heaps of character.

Its barely a 10 minute walk to the beach. Half an hour drive to the nearest port.

The other thing I found exceptional was the staff care. They all went above and beyond to fulfill our every request. Calling ahead to various destinations and attractions to help us organise our day, arranging transport, and so on.

And the food...oh my it was amazing.

I'm looking forward very much to going back with my family. Xx

A beautiful rustic hotel in a rural setting. A perfect place to rest and recharge. Attended a 5 day wellbeing retreat with a large group - we were exceptionally well looked after by everyone. A special mention to Sidney who always went the extra mile for us!!

The pool is amazing but rooms are tiny, rustic and in need of renovation. Service was on a slower side but we really liked the staff.

Stayed at this beautiful place for a well-being retreat with a group of 50 plus. Wonderful place to rest, reflect, meditate and swim. Close to beach but otherwise pretty remote. Staff are wonderful - can’t do enough for you. Accommodation is rustic/basic but the outside space is magical.
Will definitely return for the next retreat!

We have just come back from a wonderful 10 day stay in Sardegnia where, we had a nice balance between days out exploring ancient nuraghi and Roman sites and the coast - the mountains to the east and west of Cagliari, and pool days at Il Monastero. The hotel has character, our room was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable, with the added luxury of a good little fridge and very efficient air conditioning during the hottest spell Sardegnia has ever seen! The staff were exceptional! They were welcoming, helpful and just lovely. As is often the case, in any hotel, things don’t always go to plan or something is not quite to your satisfaction but they always went above and beyond to put things right immediately and ensured that we had a very enjoyable holiday in lovely surroundings. If you are staying for any length of time it is always going to be difficult to provide a changeable selection at breakfast. However, the selection of hot and cold food items was what we would expect and have experienced in hotels across Europe. The restaurant was on a par with others that we tried in the area. In summary the location, the facilities and above all else, the wonderful staff made it a lovely and relaxing holiday. Thank you Il Monastero.

I never write reviews even if i had bad experience but at this time i have to write it down and maybe i could save some people from bad choices . We stayed there more then a week so we saw enough .
Breakfast :
Poor food not enough choice . We had enough every single morning to eat tasteless omlettes and bacons. There are omelette bacons croissants some mini cakes yoghurt and the fruit is : melon and sometimes pinapple . The coffee taste horrible .
Pool is ok .
Hoewever we had to pay 5euro each person per night to use the sunbads and the pool …. Excusme???
They will only tell you that when u arrive or when u check in .
Rooms:
Horrible . Bed to noise mattress is awful . Air condition is licking . And neighbour couple next to us they find baby snake in their room . Yes baby snake . You can can clearly hear everything from the rooms when the neighbours flash down toilets clearly hear the whole conversation.

Restaurant : the price for the foods are too overpriced.

If you dont have car then its a bit struggle because you are middle of nowhere . there are no good restaurants nearby.

And my favourite one from this hotel is : do not have hot water untill 6pm and they turn off around 9ish.
Staff were polite .
I have absoy no idea how can this hotel own 3 stars … 🤷🏼‍♀️ Is only 2 star or even worst .

Skønneste poolområde. Ingen larm, altid ledige solsenge og skygge. Sengen trængte til en ny madras, og aircondition larmede for meget

I would highly recommend this Hotel staff were amazing so helpful especially Marianna we missed our flight due to massive delays at airport so our dates for staying had to be changed at short notice, they were so helpful, we really appreciate all the great service from staff, food was delicious, spotless clean rooms, Sidney, Sabrina and all other staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, we are very grateful and thank you all sincerely for your hospitality we hope to be back again in the future.

Lovely place with a great pool, very nice scenery and good local food. We had a good relaxing stay. Restaurant offers local Sardinian cuisine and pizza. Good location and beautiful beaches nearby. The hotel is good value for money. No complaints.

Beautiful place with a superb swimming pool area. Apart from that a lot of services, like massages, mini-golfing and an outside gym. Nice restaurant, although not the best Sardinian food we have tasted. Very helpful personel.

La struttura merita veramente. Ma c'è stata poca cura del cliente e della stanza.. frigobar spento.. 2 bustine di sapone giuste per mezza doccia.. peccato

Liked the pool, the location, the food and the beach. Service was a bit slow, felt we we’re a bit of a nuisance. The room was a bit dark needed more light and updating especially the shower.

Ristorante con cibo buono, colazione abbondante con dolci sempre freschi di giornata, personale simpatico e disponibile, pulizia impeccabile delle camere , servizi ottimi, giardino ben curato.Purtroppo la piscina che dovrebbe essere il fiore all'occhiello di quest' oasi è completamente da ristrutturare e da tenere pulitissima.
