The front desk people were amazing .

Comfortable Pleasing Stay in Midtown
Pros:

This was a surprisingly comfortable clean convenient and pleasant stay. I was on the top floor so very quiet and the room was fairly large and v nice. The location was fabulous— right near MoMA, not long walk to Lincoln Center and Broadway theaters. The staff was friendly and accommodating and they gave free fresh cookies every day!

Cons:

Everything was really great.

Ottima posizione ma grosso problema con l’ascensore.

La posizione è sicuramente delle migliori; tra Central park e time square a un passo dalla 5th avenue

Cons:

L’ingresso è minuscolo e poco accogliente, in reception si alternano ragazzi educati e socievoli con un uomo e una donna che manco ti salutano quando entri! E poi il PROBLEMA ASCENSORE!!! Lo avevo letto in qualche recensione e sicuramente sottovalutato ma è un problemino serio! Delle volte abbiamo aspettato fino a 20 minuti per prendere l’ascensore…. Si crea una coda assurda (vedi foto)

Great short stay at the Doubletree!
Pros:

Convenient location and very pleasant staff.

Cons:

The only issue I had was: despite writing to the front desk staff asking for a room away from the elevator and thru the Hilton Honors app requesting a certain room away from the elevator, the room we were given was right next to the elevator.

Great location
Pros:

Perfect location, staff were really friendly and great restaurant located in the hotel

Cons:

We had to go to reception to request replacement towels and toilet roll after housekeeping had been. One of the lifts in the hotel was also broken
