I was attending a wedding near by so it was a pleasant surprise to find this gorgeous traditional hotel.
Pros:

Stunning gardens. Comfortable room and lovely breakfast. Jasmine on reception was super helpful booking cabs for me and sourcing a 2nd fan and a robe for my room.

Lovely country house location in a very quiet setting.
Pros:

Gardens were so pretty and the Stables Restaurant had a great atmosphere.

Cons:

Check in- a little more detail would have been helpful.
There were other functions going on which does impact on facilities.

Nice location beautiful building and grounds with well kept gardens. Nicely kept inside. Friendly staff and helpful. The food - breakfast and the evening meal were excellent. Fast wifi and 4 EV charging points running at 22Kw. Enjoyable stay right next door to Beamish Museum.

Pros:

Beautiful setting and location. Restaurant is a bonus.

Cons:

Breakfast - would prefer to order and pay for what I order instead of a set price including getting your own drinks and other bits. (Or at least given the option, I hate buffet style)
