The perfect location for a relaxing break. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby.
Pros:

The whole experience was excellent and relaxing. Particularly enjoyed the gardens and talking to the very interesting and helpful gardeners. The proximity to Beamish Museum is an added bonus. Lots of other interesting places to visit nearby.

A really lovely property and very friendly staff with a lovely restaurant and bar in an old stables.
Pros:

I liked the location for Beamish museum

Cons:

A lot of stairs which were hard going for an older person , it's important to request a room near reception or the restaurant outside if you can't manage longs corridors and steep stairs , I would also double check weddings aren't on as I expect it's noisey then

Absolutely superb
Pros:

I was there 2 nights for a wedding. Staying in the apartment and then a de-lux room next to the bridal suite. The rooms, food, staff were all fantastic. A beautiful few days and an amazing wedding. Wedding breakfast was out of this world!!!

Everything cooked perfectly

Cons:

If wanted to go downstairs from our room 108 you had to use the fire door and use the staff staircase which was very unslightly and not in keeping with the rest of the building!
