This is our 3rd stay at Dominican Fiesta. We love the staff (especially Yolanda in the restaurant for breakfast, and Jose and Tomas -concierges). There is a parking lot for guests and a grocery store & park within walking distance. Rooms are clean. Breakfast options are amazing. Will be staying here again.

Our experience at this hotel was deeply affected by a clear lack of organization and communication.
From the moment we arrived, there was confusion regarding our reservation, and the front desk staff did not provide clear or consistent information. We felt that there was little coordination among the team, which resulted in unnecessary delays and repeated visits to reception.
Instead of feeling welcomed and supported, we experienced disorganization and poor communication throughout our stay.
A hotel should operate with efficiency and clarity, and unfortunately, that was not our experience.
We made our reservation through Booking.com, and from the moment we arrived, everything was disorganized.
There was clear confusion at the front desk regarding our booking, and the situation was not handled professionally. We spent almost three hours at reception trying to resolve issues that should have been handled efficiently. On top of that, we had to return to the front desk two additional times due to further mistakes.
We were later called again because of additional errors, including a double charge on our card and our room key being unexpectedly deactivated.
Because of this ongoing disorganization, we did not have time to complete the important tasks we had come to Santo Domingo to handle.
Aside from one staff member who was polite and helpful, the overall service at reception lacked coordination, communication, and efficiency.
The entire experience felt chaotic, stressful, and extremely disappointing.
There were friendly staffs, Like the Bellboy Caeser very attentive ready to help with anything that is needed. Yoel was also very helpful anytime i needed assistance and omairy, albony, Soena were helpful too!
unacceptable, unsafe, and unsanitary conditions experienced during our stay. The situation reflects a systemic failure in housekeeping, maintenance, and customer service, and falls far below any reasonable hospitality standard.
The following issues were documented across multiple rooms:
• Room 704: Bathtub was full of dirt upon arrival.
• Room 747: Bath/shower was completely broken and unusable.
• Room 645: Strong, persistent mold odor throughout the room.
• Room 637: Air conditioning unit began emitting a smoke/burning smell, posing a potential safety hazard.
• Room 608: Presence of cockroaches.
• Housekeeping: No housekeeping service was provided at all.
• Front Desk: Steven, at the front desk, demonstrated a clear lack of customer service competence, failed to manage the situation appropriately, and offered no effective resolution despite repeated complaints.
These conditions are unacceptable, unhealthy, and in some cases dangerous. Guests should never be exposed to mold, pests, malfunctioning bathrooms, or equipment emitting smoke, nor should they be forced to navigate these issues without competent staff support.
The number of rooms affected indicates that this is not an isolated incident, but a broader operational and management failure. This experience caused significant inconvenience, discomfort, and concern for our well-being.
My experience at the Dominican Fiesta was nothing short of deplorable. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the service was careless, and to make matters worse, they assigned me a room below the category I had actually paid for. The air conditioning barely worked, and only after insisting and complaining several times did they finally move me to the suite I originally booked — something that should have been done from the start.
The food was horrible, with nothing decent to highlight. Overall, there was absolutely nothing good to say about this stay. This hotel desperately needs a complete overhaul in management, service, and facilities. I would not recommend it to anyone.
My breakfast was included but I had to pay extra for a cappuccino. I was sitting in the lobby by the coffee bar, no one came to take our order. I room coffee machine is horrible, this isn’t a 5 star hotel.
This hotel is not all that. Is kind of old. But their employees are unbelievable.Startong with Xavier at the front desk. And Jerry. The girls at the salon were the most fantastic and amazing we had so far. As well the trainer Emilio. If you need someone that is going to take care of you. Look for Emilio. What a pleasant service oriented and spectacular human being. The concierge very helpful extremely courteous. Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for these people. There is a great mercado where you can have breakfast 2 blocks away! El Manatí.

My mom and I had a good overall experience at this hotel. The staff was kind and helpful, especially the ladies at the salon, and Emilio, Xavier, & Gregorio. The facilities are a bit older but well maintained. We came for the Bad Bunny concert and this was the most reasonably priced hotel we could find for the weekend.
Be sure to check out the Manati Colmado (within walking distance) for breakfast :)
Very bad service, as in booking directly with the hotel, and also at arrival. Arrive at 1430 and could not register untill 1500, sill seeing people go in front. 1500 when to get my room and ita not ready yet so you cant register. Pfffff
I had high expectations about this hotel but after just one day am sorely disappointed. Check in took a long time, despite the fact that there was no line and they had my reservation. The room smells musty, carpet is worn and furniture is decades old and so outdated. When I gently complained about this, I was told that I would be charged more to go to an updated room. It takes multiple times for someone to answer at the front desk. I had hoped for a better experience and thus far, would not recommend it. One highlight - dinner in the restaurant was quite good.
I was a bit nervous staying at this hotel because of the mixed reviews I've read, however, I had a really great experience. The hotel itself is really beautiful and the service (from front desk, to bartenders and servers) was on point. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was seamless. The food was fantastic and the live music was exceptional. The room was really nice and clean and there was no musty smell. AC worked and room always remained cool. Our shower/tub was in need of a touch up but nothing horrible. The pool and area around the pool was super clean and the water was a perfect temperature for a nice dip.
