Hotel Athena

Literie pas confortable manque un surmatelas pour un meilleur confort. Le torrent bruyant pour certaines oreilles. Les oreiller hors d'usage devraient être changer ? Petit déjeuner correct mais pas réapprovisionné.

the staff was very nice, they were trying very hard and the place has some good bones, but someone needs to think about painting it and needs to think about updating the beds and furniture

Loved it! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food (both breakfast and dinner) were so delicious with a lot of options, the rooms are simple but we didnt need much - we went for a 5 day skiing trip and wanted an affordable place yet close to the Olympe gondola, leading right into Meribel. The hotel is about 7min walk to the gondola, therefore perfect! Brides Les Bain does not have a lot of going out/restaurant options, so some nights we stayed at Athena for dinner… great choice, cause we loved it! We are vegetarians, and the hotel accommodated so well to that. They even prepared an off-the-menu meal for us! Breakfast is excellent, hotel facilities are very clean, staff is extremely helpful and friendly… I highly recommend!

Je suis très contente de mon sejour dans cet hôtel. A la reception la dame est très gentille et à notre disposition, quant au seveur aux repas il est super. Tout le personnel est courtois et sympathique.

Hôtel très accueillant, à côté des commodités et des thermes.
État impeccable dans une déco "petit chalet" et vu sur la source, dépaysement assuré !

Coût petit déjeuner un peu élevé (12 par jour).

Hotel propose mais les indications pour trouver ma chambre (arrivée après 21h30) étaient erronées et j'ai galéré pour trouver ma chambre non indiquée depuis la réception. Parking plein. Chambre très bruyante en sous sol à proximité du torrent. Désolée cela ne correspondait pas à mes besoins étant en déplacement professionnel... réception ouverte à partir de 8h30 et j'ai quitté l'établissement à 7h30... donc je n'ai pas pu faire de retours.

Had a nice stay at the Hotel Athena. Nothing fancy but functional. Not very accessible to main mountain at Val Thorens but they have a gondola very close in town that takes you to Meribel, one of the mountains. From there, you can access the 3 Valleys.

come prima esperienza in quella località ci siamo trovati a nostro agio. In hotel gentile accoglienza, camera confortevole, ristorante in hotel molto apprezzabile per la scelta e la qualità dei prodotti e della presentazione.

Bon accueil, parking gratuit pratique, bon emplacement, pour les runners, plein de chemins le long de la rivière. PdJ simple, grande chambre.
Télécommande TV bloqué, mode Sleep non accessible
On entend bien le torrent qui passe sous la fenêtre, pour certaines personnes ça peut être gênant ?et pour d'autre ça berce ;-)

Les faïences des carrelages nécessiteraient une réfection

Accueil très agréable, petit déjeuner complet (buffet) un peu cher cependant.
Chambre spacieuse, bonne literie.
Par contre ma chambre était au bord du Doron, le bruit fort à cette période m'a gêné toute la nuit.

Trist hotell med dåligt management. Ett kök som inte klarade av sitt uppdrag.
Räddhågsen personal. Bäst och trevligast var städpersonalen.

We hadden geboekt op de foto van de open haard,... maar die werd nooit aangestoken :-(
De kamers waren ruim, proper en het eten was lekker. We vroegen wel veel dingen bij tijdens het ontbijt die voortijds op waren.
Leuke sauna en hammam !
