Hotel Areca

A modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was well appointed, comfortable and clean. A good selection at breakfast and we enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant. Convenient for Alicante airport if required.

Spacious, comfortable room, excellent service, internet in the room was unstable, connectivity often interrupted.

We only stayed for 2 nights but the room was clean and fresh. Would recommend.

We often stay here on the way to Alicante airport. The rooms are spacious, beautifully clean and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

We have stayed several times and it’s always fantastic. We see it as part of our holiday. The staff are very helpful and courteous, the rooms are comfortable, the food is excellent. We now usually have the tasting menu and it’s always great. The breakfasts are also lovely. We will be back in February.

Great location only 10 minutes from Alicante airport. Underground parking for security. Simply furnished but spacious rooms. Fantastic restaurant with knowledgeable staff. The menu choice is wide and the tasting menu great value for money. The restaurant is very popular so you must book. All staff are friendly and speak English. Highly recommended.

Excellently located just a few minutes from Alicante airport, this hotel is great value for money. The reception staff are excellent - welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was clean and well equipped, the bed was quite comfortable(though softer pillows would be welcome)and the shower worked well. The garden at the rear of the hotel was a pleasant surprise and a lovely setting in which to have a drink or a meal. We ate in the restaurant and we are so glad we opted to dine in rather than going out - the food was superb, the service was exemplary and the price was surprisingly reasonable. Highly recommend this hotel!

My wife and I stay here 4 times a year, on arrival at Alicante and before we return home.
We see no reason to stay elsewhere as we are always happy and made to feel welcome.
2 very minor improvements would make it perfect:
1. An English speaking news channel on the TV,
2. A bigger choice on the breakfast menu.

Fairly comfortable overnight stop. Boise insulation poor. We experienced traffic noise and noise from next room

This was my favorite hotel during my stay in Spain. I traveled between Barcelona, Cordova, Granada, and Madrid. And in all of my travels, this was my favorite hotel. The hotel staff was kind. The food was amazing — I had the best hummus in my life in this hotel. In addition, the amenities were amazing, for example, the spa area was spectacular. And its proximity to the city, the beach, and the airport were huge pluses. I highly encourage anyone to visit this hotel during their stay in Spain.

Very good location, close to the airport and very clean. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. The only thing that surprised me was that bottled water (even still water) was not complimentary and had to be paid for – it would have been a nice touch to include at least one bottle per guest.

24 hour reception was a bonus, as our flight landed in Alicanti after midnight. Rooms were spotless, breakfast was awesome and staff went out of their way to help.

Once again, excellent value, food and room. Ideal location for Alicante airport (10€)

Clean, cheerful helpful staff, good food & good value. The only stressful part is getting out of the tight underground car park!

Recommended by friends, great location for Alicante airport, 5 mins by car.
Very modern , great check in, lady recommended the hotel restaurant or places within walking distance.
Room was immaculate, large room with seating area, bathroom spotless with toiletries provided.
Fridge supplied with water & soft drinks.
Reception was 24 hour service, great for our 4 am start.
Will use this hotel again .

Not so good having to rent a kettle when a deluxe room

Can’t comment on what’s around the property, as we use this as stopover hotel, usually arriving very late and leaving sharp the next morning, but what we do see and experience is always very good.

Beautiful, clean hotel!
Perfect for staying a night or two before a flight as it is so close to Alicante airport.
The spa was basic but lovely and the price to stay which includes the spa is really good!
The restaurant was lovely, we had dinner outside which had a beautiful setting and breakfast which I would highly recommend
