Hôtel Vacances Bleues Le Royal

In the heart of Nice, just doors down from the world-famous Hotel Negresco, a large high-celinged room with sweeping view of the Bay of Angels. Belle Epoque hotel, right in the middle of the Promenade des Anglais, and steps from the Musee Massena. Very comfortable, and one can listen to the crashing of the surf.

We arrived very tired but Nicolas at reception was wonderful. He helped us with our bags and arranged an earlier check in .

thank you for the hospitality / the room was very nice, breakfast not so much. The building is old and in need of renovation - Alime & Charlotte were very helpful

The hotel was great overlooking the Mediterranean. The staff were great especially Alìnerooms and food very very good

Best place ever stayed. And Aline was great View was unbelievable from the room. Peaple are best. Great service will definitely come here again

A very nice hotel, room sizes are above their class, same with bathrooms. Excellent location directly at the Promenade, nice bar terrace to sit in the sun. Major tourist attractions can be reached on foot. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Booked this hotel during a business trip. Hotel is directly across from the ocean. Great ocean views. Staff is extremely helpful amd friendly. No ironing boards in rooms but they do have a community ironing room on 3rd floor which is ok. Great location between old and new town.

Stayed here for a long weekend in April. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and patient with our attempts to speak French but their English was very good. Appreciated the early opening for breakfast on the Sunday as one of our party was competing in the Nice Half Marathon - great views for the race from the hotel as it was very close to the start line. About 15 minute walk to Old town and easy to find from the tram which we caught from the aiport. Rooms were spacious and well kept.

Hi I stayed in the month of Oct for 3 days I have to say so impressed with the hotel Met at reception by Nicdas , so good at his job and such a welcome smile 😊 and answered all my questions in everything I asked about hotel and of course Nice.

We stayed at Le Royal Hotel for our honeymoon earlier this month. The location was excellent walking distance to the beach, restaurants, cafe's and train station. Rooms were clean and spacious as well.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay, particularly Pieter, Nicolas and Aeime. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs during our stay, and would recommend others to stay here and have the same experience we did. We appreciated their hospitality and hope to visit again.

Fantastic customer service, wonderful location and beautiful facilities. Loved the food too. Value for money couldn"t have been better.

Twin room but paper cups for drinks and tea....but proper glasses and coffee cups available downstairs if you ask nicely. Best boulangerie around the corner is Bio Brod, good coffee as well. Choose up market brasseries for lunch then get fresh baquettes and wine in the room to save money. over dinner.

Get the Linges D'Azur travel card and take the bus to Vence.

The hotel is located in a great spot across the h e road from the beach.
The reception staff were friendly and efficient.
The room was very spacious and the bed was huge.
Easy walking distance to so many good eateries.

We had an excellent stay at Le Royal. The staff were helpful. We enjoyed a fabulous view. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The only thing that brought the quality of the stay down a star were a few stains on the carpet. There was a nice bar with snacks. Breakfast was offered and had a good selection. There were wonderful patisseries nearby with great coffee. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Very walkable to Old Town, Port, Castle Hill and the train. We hope to return in the future.

Absolutely excellent location right on Nice Promanade with french balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. Staff were very helpful! Room was large, looked newly renovated and beautiful.

I loved our stay at Le Royal. A 10 for location- upscale, u can walk the promenade, access beach, wslk to shop, eat, etc. The absolute best for location!!!!!! They need to get new carpet- a grey textured pattern to update!!!!but overall, it offeredso much. AS THEY SAY, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. LOVEDTHE TERRACE SEA VIEW!

Very close to everything you would like to do or see in Nice. Rooms themselves and Breakfast Room were good. Good working elevator.
