Comfortable bed, nice breakfast but the room let it down.
Pros:

A good central location. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Room was dusty, sink area not cleaned properly, shower head rusty. Doors and walls scuffed.
It could have done with being redecorated. Air con didn’t appear to be working properly. Just as well there was a fan to cool the room.

Great location and lovely rooms. Perfect for a couple of nights in York.
Pros:

Beautiful, spacious rooms with great views and comfortable bed. Very handy location for train station and the city centre. Reception and housekeeping staff were lovely.

Cons:

Some staff in the Paddle Bar appeared uninterested in serving almost to the point of rudeness.

Fab location and friendly staff
Pros:

Location fantastic. Staff were very friendly. The trip away was for my daughter’s birthday and they put a card in the room with some vouchers for a free drink, thank you for that.

Cons:

Sounds silly but maybe need to invest in new windows, felt like the outside noise was inside.

I liked the location close to town, great choice at breakfast. Mattress was comfy.

Cons:

Pillows where a bit hard, Stains on carpet, was no water or biscuits provided as there normally would be, all glasses for drink in reception area weren't clean.
