Customer service was appalling.
Emailed twice to ask why we were charged £32 for parking when its clear on thier webpage that it costs £20. Ignored both times. Head office then contacted who told staff to look at this issue, still ignored. Three times head office have told them to look at this. Still ignored.
We wont be back

Good location, clean room, very helpful reception staff, friendly cleaning lady.
Nothing to complain about really.
The staff delt with the problems quickly
The room was dirty, loud and the head board had seman on it from a previous occupant
Location
It would have been nice to have a better view
Breakfast very expensive
Parking very expensive
View from 8th floor window over river Ouse and the Minster.
Location
Booked a superior room and didn’t get given one and weren’t told at checking in. Went to inform them and after a lot of arguing they gave us 2 free drinks for the bar, free car park and £30 discount. The bill had already been paid so they said the £30 would be reimbursed 3/5 days later. 4 weeks later with endless phone calls, emails to hotel and customer service still haven’t had refund so put it in hands of credit card who have reimbursed us. I assume they go after radisson. Never will stay with them again, very poor customer services and reception staff
Location
Bar only open from 3.00 pm thought most hotels open earlier for lunch and drink before check in
Maid knocked on door 1st morning 7 o clock and then tried to come in luckily we had chain on
Front check in desk weird someone on desk someone sitting on stool with lap top
Not a fan of fixed shower head as if didn’t want hair wet bit impossible to have a shower without
Drinks expensive double price of other places in Durham
Location was great, easy walking distance to city centre, close to river etc. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
There was no signage for a disabled access to hotel, so I had to manage up flight of steps to get in. I had paid for a standard room but got what I would call politely a ‘cozy double’. However, it should have been turned into a linen room as it was next to the lift shaft, which ground and banged its way to every floor. So for two nights I got very little sleep: Make sure you ask not to be next to lift.
