Pros:

The breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons:

They add 20 per cent VAT to the restaurant bill as well as a service charge. I didn't like this, or think it is legal when they make no mention of it on any menu.

The lifts were working, the room was comfortable and well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

We didn’t have a teaspoon in the room, we stirred our coffees with a toothbrush! Although the shower was accessible, there was quite a step up to get in. The shower was lovely but the jet strength meant water crept around the screen and made the floor wet and slippy.

Closeness to the train station was good.

Cons:

Having to self check in upon arrival has staff watched on wasn't what we were expecting, it took 10minutes filling the information in and activating your own room key, definetly no personal service and the same when checking out. :-(
Breakfast wasn't the best with a lack of options especially on the hot english breakfast selection.
