Exceeded expectation. This sophisticated, classic hotel made our Oaxaca experience. 5*
Pros:

The breakfast and dinner were both delicious with a great wine selection. The grounds were impeccably kept. The room was perfectly comfortable and the bathroom was great, all was very clean. The staff were professional and friendly, attending to our every need. Always there when you need them and never overbearing. Returning here after a day exploring Oaxaca and surrounding areas was a highlight of every day.

Cons:

Sadly there weren't many other guests at the hotel. It was such a shame because when it was busy the atmosphere of the hotel was amazing but this was only during the breakfast hours when locals would attend to dine.

Beautiful and relaxing stay
Pros:

We loved our stay at this hotel - it's an easy drive into Oaxaca but in a quieter suburb which still has a few places to eat. The grounds, pool and restaurant are really lovely and the staff are very friendly. We were able to park easily and appreciated the 24.7 security guard there.

Quiet and relaxing stay!
Pros:

The hotel was very beautiful, quiet, and had all the services we needed. It was not too far from the centro area and offered a quieter neighborhood. We felt safe knowing the hotel is gated with security. Hotel is very well kept and clean. Staff was extremely helpful when arranging transportation and assisting with luggage, room service, and spa reservations. We dined at the restaurant a few times which was convenient.

It’s a lovely property but I wouldn’t give it higher than three stars.
Pros:

The property is beautiful but in need of repairs. Our air conditioner went out and we couldn’t sleep the entire night because it was too hot. They agreed to change our room but offered us no compensation. Everytime I had a request the staff treated me like I was bothering them. I may not stay there again. The garden was lovely.

Cons:

Peeling tiles in the pool, the grout in the bathroom was moldy and gross. The staff could have been nicer.

Quaint little getaway
Pros:

The staff was like family. They look after you like you are royalty. The spa was available when we needed them and the experience was great. And the food, the food was so delicious and reasonable.
