Excellent base for a trip to La Fortuna if you don't want to stay in the busy town.
Pros:

We stayed in one of the deluxe suites which is very modern, and down by the river. It was lovely, and very spacious and surrounded by trees. The wooden cabins all looked lovely too. Good pool. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed that! The property was a 5 min drive from La Fortuna which suited us as La Fortuna is very busy with traffic. We also walked in , but that is about 25/30 mins. There are a couple of nice restaurants /bars within a 5/10 minute walk if you don't want to go into town. Ideal base for a trip to the area.

L’accueil du monsieur hollandais sympathique

Immer wieder würde ich hier buchen!!!
Pros:

Es war super schön und ich würde die Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen!! Das kleine Häuschen war groß, lieb eingerichtet und mit dem Balkon ins Grüne heraus - mit Hängematte - einfach himmlisch!! Das Frühstück war simple, aber ausreichend und das ganze Ambiente einfach toll. Vielen lieben Dank für alles!!

Estadía bien por el precio.
Pros:

La ubicación bien, camas grandes.

Cons:

La casita donde nos quedamos estaba cruzando la calle, no estaba en las instalaciones principales. Había que cruzar la calle para ir a desayunar, a la piscina, recepción, etc. Todo bien, solo que esto no fue informado en el momento de reservar.
Lo que nos gustó fue el desayuno, no estaba rico. El gallo pinto muy condimentado, en general no tenía buen sabor.

Pros:

Samo miejsce jest idealne. Olbrzymi ogród z dostępem do rzeki i fragmentu lasu deszczowego. Domek z tarasem prosto z widokiem na góry i las z tyłu. Można zaliczyć fajny spacer i kąpiel w kaskadach, o ile nie boisz się kąpać w takim miejscu. Pełno zwierząt, możliwość nocnych spacerów na własną rękę. Domki mają parkingi, droga dojazdowa ok. Śniadanie też w porządku - co prawda nie dla każdego, bo była tam kiełbasa.

Adorable cabin stay nearby the waterfalls
Pros:

We loved our stay at Cabinas La Catarata. The cabin is very nice, spacious with some kitchen facilities, the beds are good and comfortable, there is an airconditioning that works fine. The balcony is awesome, with a hammock to look at the birds and at night the fireflies. In their beautiful garden we saw hummingbirds, toucans and other colorful birds. The breakfast is served early and is good and enough to get you started for a long day of activities. Location is great, close to downtown, enough activities and restaurants nearby. And a view on the volcano. And the pool is lovely, even if the water is not crystal clear it is clean and very nice for an occasional swim. The garden is large, it is a nice hike to the waterfall inside the property where you can even bathe in the creek.

Cons:

The hot shower is scary. There is no hot water in itself so the showerhead is an electrical heater, with electric wires on the outside. I don’t like bathrooms and electricity a lot, so just took cold showers. There is little water pressure. Would this prevent me from staying here? Definitively not. We stayed here three nights, showered every day and it was fine. But if you count on long warm showers, look elsewhere.

Cabinas in schönem Garten
Pros:

Wir hatten eine der beiden Cabinas auf der anderen Straßenseite. Das Haus war geräumig, die Küche gut ausgestattet, Super Zimmer-Service, sehr gutes W-LAN. Schöner Garten mit vielen Vögeln.

Cons:

Metalldach: Wenn etwas aus den Bäumen runter auf das Dach gefallen ist, hat es extrem laut geknallt, auch nachts. Haken im Bad wären wünschenswert.
