Pros:

Le parc avec plein d'oiseaux et la vue du balcon de notre chambre. Petit déjeuner très sympa avec les oiseaux qui viennent manger devant votre table

Spacious cabin, beautiful setting
Pros:

Huge cabin with massive comfy bed and hot tub. Great to be down by the river. Beautiful gardens and great wildlife on the doorstep. Super clean.

Cons:

A little far from town. Breakfast was only ok. TV didn't work which didn't really matter but we asked them to look at it and they didn't. Also cleaner left our cabin unlocked one day.

Pros:

Los anfitriones muy amables. El lugar es muy lindo, lleno de pájaros y naturaleza. Las cabinas eran silenciosas.

La ubicación era un poco alejada del pueblo.

Goed verblijf midden in het groen.
Pros:

De ligging, zowel naar het centrum goed gelegen en volop in de natuur. Grote lodge met zowel een grote douche en een kleine keuken. Die we niet echt nodig hadden maar toch handig kan zijn. We hadden de lodge onderaan de berg, vlak tegen het water. De auto kon vlakbij geparkeerd worden. Er is een zwembad waar we omwille van het slechte weer geen gebruik van gemaakt hebben. Er zijn heel wat goede restaurants in de buurt. We kunnen Chante Verde zeker aanraden.

Cons:

Het ontbijt was lekker maar beperkt. De papa en mama zijn vriendelijk maar verstaan enkel Spaans. De eveneens vriendelijke dochter (vermoeden we) spreekt wel Engels maar is niet altijd aanwezig.

Pros:

Handige uitvalsbasis voor belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving.
Vriendelijke ontvangst, goed ontbijt. Ruime kamer met balkon (met fraai uitzicht op tropisch regenwoud.) goed restaurant in de buurt (10 min lopen)

Cons:

Geen grote kwestie; dicht langs doorgaande weg (maar zonder er last van te hebben).

In a good area, great value and lovely breakfast.
Pros:

Good communication beforehand and we were greeted on arrival by a gentleman who spoke really good English and showed us around. Our Cabina was down by the river and had a spa bath on the terrace outside, along with two great rocking chairs. It was like having your own little jungle with much birdlife around. You could walk down to the river which was 2 minutes away. I believe we were in one of the high end cabinas, but it was worth it. The bed was comfortable and the shower was a good size. Shampoo provided - just bring your own shower gel. Breakfast was of really good quality. The location of the property was brilliant and there were great restaurants within walking distance. The swimming pool was lovely. Very handy for everything in La Fortuna. All in all a great stay.

Cons:

Our cabina was down a rather rough and steep slope at the bottom of the grounds. We are reasonably fit and healthy and we also had a 4 x 4 vehicle so all fine for us. You had to get used to the noise of the river running by, but we did not find this a big problem. If you had any walking difficulties then choose a property nearer to the reception. There were not enough sun beds by the pool and it would have been handy to have a toilet in that area too. Very small things and we would really recommend staying here.

Very beautiful garden. Property well maintained. Pool area cleen. Comfy bed. Personal very friendly. Room cleaning service fantastic. There was AC.

Cons:

Breakfast was mid and always the same. One time found hair in eggs. Checked with flashlight if am I not lying. It was fun. Wifi connection in cabin was very interesting. It worked for Facebook and YouTube, but nothing else. So if you need to check email, you have to go to reception area. Cabin itself had a smell of mold. In shower there was no shampoo or shower gel. Everything in cabin very old, furniture, table cloth and curtain.
