Awesome location, wonderful top floor bar (not a roof deck), and great staff. Just be careful if you have street-side room. The views can be nice, but Obregon is a busy and active street, so lots of noise all night long.

A mini fridge in room and a kettle for tea , not just a coffee pod machine not everyone drinks coffee
I stayed here in January of 2026. I booked directly through the hotel and was guaranteed a rate that was held by credit card and I opted to pay for the stay when I checked in. That was my first mistake. More on that later.
The location is good in a sense. You are very close to one of the bus lines and very close to many of the restaurants in the neighborhood. However it feels like you are also on the borderline of what could be sketchy by about a few blocks. I didn’t have a problem but I saw a few hotels in some very nice parts of Roma Norte with more greenery and cuter looking homes around.
The hotel seems like a popular place for Americans as I heard a lot of english there.
The staff are very kind and professional.
The rooms were nice and clean. I was facing the street so I heard some noise but I like that. I can sleep through most things.
You were given 2 bottles of water daily which was nice. There is no ice machine in the halls or on any floors so you have to go to the restaurant with your hotel bucket and ask them to fill it. I found that a little odd. No fridge in the room either.
Now for the reason I gave this the poor rating I did. The hotel was fine but the billing has been a nightmare.
If you are in the USA once you have a locked in guaranteed room rate when you check in they will put a pending hold onto the card used for incidentals I assumed. I saw the hold and it was around $350 more than the rate I was given for a week. When I pointed it out to the front desk they said it will fall away once the true billing occurs. No problem.
I had to extend the stay by one day due to Winter Storm Fern. They said it wasn’t a problem.
When I checked out they had a folio with the breakdown of the bill. I noticed that in USD it was higher by about $45 dollars. I asked them about it and they said that once the bill goes through it will be accurate. What I am looking at is a “Pending” charge.
As I make my way to the airport I get an alert on my phone from Marriott for a pending charge that is $237 over what the bill should be.
I phone Marriott trying to find out why this was and after doing some sleuthing online it turns out that I am not alone. Many have had 15% added to their stay in various Marriott branches in the world.
What happened is that on the website they give you a price in USD. When you check out they charge you in pesos and then they do the currency conversion to dollars themselves. And their rate is very high. The only way around this is to pay in Pesos via cash when you leave. I obviously didn’t try that as I was assured that the ‘extra’ would fall off but it was suggested on some Reddit threads.
I find this practice very misleading and deceptive. And to find out it’s been happening since 2021 and before really will make me think about choosing Marriott in the future if I am going to Mexico. I stayed at the Marriott in Osaka and there were no hidden conversion fees. Maybe it’s this Marriott which is doing it? I called corporate and they told me only the hotel can reverse the charges so maybe this particular branch is like a franchise. Who knows but this is a warning to others who choose to stay here. Even though it looks like your rate is locked in ..if you’re paying in US currency via credit card expect a hefty 15% added to your bill.
Location
I liked everything
Ubicación , limpieza y comodidad
Al parecer apagan el aire acondicionado en la noche
This hotel is modern, clean and safe with a perfect location close to the Roma and Zona Rosa neighborhoods.
We enjoyed our room facing the street and the street noise did not bother us much.. Our room had floor to ceiling glass doors out onto a tiny balcony... It was the light and sun which we enjoyed so much. The rooms facing the back are quieter but have rather small horizontal windows.
Our room was comfortable and close by to many restaurants of either fine dining or street tacos.
The front desk staff were friendly and bilingual, English/Spanish
I have no hesitancy in recommending this hotel... I don't think you will be disappointed.

Nicely located hotel across the street from a pretty pedestrian walkway and near lots of restaurants, coffee shops and eating places. Very nice, efficient and helpful staff especially Moises who gave us lots of tips on how to get to places, sites to see and the culture. Nice breakfast and waitstaff and the rooms were comfortable, clean and a nice size. Would definitely come back again.
Good location close to restaurants in Roma Norte
No room service, no boiler in the room
Good
Great location, nice big spacious room
Bed was to soft but that’s just my preference I know that would be a bonus to others
Our room on the second floor was extremely noisy, the hotel is adjacent to a busy street. The hotel has no noise insulation and you can hear all of the street sounds (people and traffic) clearly in the room, the noise does not end and is all night long including honking and conversation. Probably the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I mentioned to the front desk but they didn’t have much to say. Avoid this property. I would recommend staying in Polanco (we stayed in the Hyatt for the first several nights, it is an excellent hotel and better location in my opinion)
Excellent hotel located in the center of Colonia Roma. Safe neighborhood, variety of dining options, friendly staff and close to major important locations in Mexico City. Rooms are modern, very clean, with many amenities and overall safe.
La ubicación, la limpieza y la calidad de la cama. El hotel es muy moderno y acogedor. Sin duda una de las mejores opciones en Ciudad de México!
