Avoid like the plague!
Pros:

The only nice thing was the guy who helps with parking. The breakfast was ok at best.

Cons:

The location is terrible - you need to climb up stairs and a hill for 20 minutes to get to tourist area. The hotel itself has stairs upon stairs to get to room ( no lift!). The bed was awful. The bathroom terrible with it almost impossible to set shower water temperature comfortably - either scalding or cold! At breakfast omelette was done snd no one brought replacement. Avoid like the plague!

Bel endroit avec une superbe vue sur la mer et l'etna mais chambre un peu vieillotte. Petit déjeuner incroyable.

Les chambres manquent de confort, peu moderne.

Pros:

Friendly helpful staff, lovely views. The bed was very comfortable. It's a very traditional style place.

Cons:

Sea view terrace room was very small and dark. This hotel is not suitable for anyone with any mobility issues, or who does not have a good level of fitness. The walk up to town is steep and on uneven surfaces in places.

Excellent Property if you are Fit!
Pros:

Great seaview from our terrace. Comfortable older property. Very good breakfast and nice sea view room or outdoor terrace to enjoy it! Parking available at 25 euros/nt.
Great restaurant nearby- Euphoria!

Cons:

Room on the smaller side. Lots of steps in the hotel. Access to town requires negotiating quite a few steps to get there.

A beautiful spot to relax
Pros:

The location was good, we had a room with access to the terrace which commands great views, so is the restaurant where you can also enjoy your breakfast admiring the scenery. Staff were attentive and very quick in coming to help with car parking, calling restaurant to check our reservation etc.

Loose carpet ends, tripping harzard

Pros:

Tolle Lage. Fussläufig in die Innenstadt. Das Frühstück und der Frühstücksraum sind traumhaft. Sehr gut auch der Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Preis-Leistung passt.

Erg mooie locatie, mooi hoog gelegen met prachtig uitzicht. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was fantastisch..

Cons:

Het is erg toeristisch. Dat maakt het prijzig. Deze accommodatie was nog enigszins te betalen, maar 400 euro voor 2 nachten (inclusief parkeerplaats) voor een kamer zonder uitzicht vinden wij erg prijzig. De kwaliteit van het bed (erg hard) viel ons ook tegen.

el lugar es increíble, bellamente decorado,.se nota el centenario (es de 1908) pero en el mejor de los sentidos. el personal nos ha atendido muy bien y las terrazas sobre el mar son una belleza. la habitación estaba perfecta, y el desayuno es insuperable. cada vez que vaya a taormina voy a hospedarme allí

Great hotel -great value. Looking forward to retuning one day
Pros:

A beautiful stylish hotel. Location was perfect-sea view and not too far to walk into town or to the bus terminal. Very comfortable room. Breakfast excellent- huge choice to suit all tastes( though rather a lot of sweet dessert items?!?). . What makes this special is the wonderful staff- from reception, the restaurant ( Sebastiano ❤️) and the cleaners. We could not have been made to feel more welcome. I feel the staff were offering a 5* service. The “ snacks” in the bar were good- I had a delicious aubergine parmigiana one evening when we were too tired to go out- tasty and good value.
