The view was amazing. The breakfast was ok.
The room looked like I was staying at someone's grandmother's house. The hotel is old but the furniture really did not have to be as old as the hotel. Very uncomfortable bed with a metal frame that made a loud banging noise with any little movement. The power went out at 5 in the morning and not only does a bright security light come on in the room but I have a CPAP so I was all of a sudden not able to breath. Not being able to go back to sleep was a problem. The walls are paper thin and the window looked out to a staircase where people were walking past all night long.
The views were exceptional and gardens were beautiful.

Really beautiful hotel with amazing views of the Taormina coast. Felt very grand and a really special place to stay.
The staff were all really friendly, great breakfasts and lovely communal spaces to relax, especially outside.
The room was really comfortable and spacious, had amazing air cone which was a lifesaver when getting back from the hilly walks.
Parking was available at a cost but is well worth doing. The staff also booked us Beach visits which were well worth doing as most of the beaches in Taormina are private and require pre-booking.
I loved the views, location and breakfast! The hotel had a character. I also think it was value for money.

This stay exceeded our expectations - it was much more than what we paid for! The staff provided the best hospitality we received in our entire 3 weeks in Italy. The accomodation was even a nice place to relax during the day with a large ballroom style common area and garden space with an incredible view to enjoy drinks and light food.
Beautiful hotel, but dated rooms. There are amazing views from all parts of the hotel, but there isn't an elevator and you have to climb stairs with your luggage to get to your room. The room didn't have modern outlets for USB chargers. Also, while beautiful, we couldn't keep the curtains open because it's a public space. Trip Advisor indicates that there is free parking however, there is a $25/night charge. They actually have to leave both your hotel key (an actual key on a big brass keychain and also your car keys, so they can move the car as needed. If you like old-world charm, this is the place for you. It is not super close to the historic center, so be aware that you will need to walk up a steep hill with some stairs to get there.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is beautiful, with amazing views of Taormina and the sea. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh with a good selection. The peaceful garden and atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to come back. Thank you for a great experience!

Nice room. Elegant boutique hotel. Exceptional view. Huge and delicious breakfast buffet that was fresh and changed daily. 10 min easy walk to center... passing pretty gardens. Would stay there again.
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Within ten minutes you are in the center of Taormina. We had a good room with a beautiful terrace with a sea view. The breakfast in the winter garden/terrace area was delicious and had a great variety. It is centrally located, but not bang in the middle of Taormina, which makes it a lot more quiet and nice.
