Perfect location for a holiday in Sorrento. Very stylish hotel - beautiful décor.
The breakfast was average: although the breakfast time was 7 AM to 10 PM all the items were finished by 9 AM, and were not replenished
AC: the AC controls were not working in the room. It has to be turned off and on and temperature controlled from the Reception.
Internal telephone: Was not working: we had to go down Reception even for minor things.
Hand shower: Was leaking
Overall, the attitude of the staff was quite indifferent.

The ramp for the suitcases to get into and out of the hotel, needs addressing. It is dangerous with water dripping onto it

Clean and modern

The only positive part of the stay was the check-in staff member, who was kind and professional
My stay at Grand Hotel Flora in Sorrento was unfortunately very disappointing.
The cleanliness standards were unacceptable. We found dog feces on the hotel floor and it remained there for over an hour before anyone cleaned it, despite informing staff.
The bed sheets and covers had an extremely strong detergent smell that made it difficult to sleep comfortably. I had to cover my nose and even place a scarf over the pillow just to sleep.
The room phone was also unreliable every time we tried calling reception or room service, nobody answered and the line appeared constantly busy.
The worst experience was during breakfast. The restaurant manager was incredibly rude simply because I asked to sit at another table that was empty and not reserved. His response was: “What’s your problem? It’s my restaurant.” This kind of aggressive behavior early in the morning creates a very uncomfortable atmosphere for guests. Hospitality starts with basic respect and welcoming behavior.
The breakfast was really complete!
Close to the city center
Well sadly we can't comment on the apparently renovated rooms or wonderful quiet pool or sea views as we spent 7 nights in what must be the old part or possibly the original part of the hotel in a room overlooking the main busy noisy road no pleasure sitting on the balcony the room was basic and clean small tv that if you wanted to watch you had to move the chair away from it no coffee tea facilities but did get a kettle when I asked reception for one which we had to plug in the bathroom as there are no spare sockets. Breakfast was acceptable although needed refilling more often staff were pleasant and hot drink was brought to your table. Pool is very big but very cold and plenty sunbeds around it but no umbrellas. Hotel is ideal fir walking into the main square etc and has a fab little restaurant next door Cucina gets busy but worth the wait. Maybe if we had been in the new part our experience would have been better 🤔
Ottimo hotel ristrutturato di recente. La camera con vista mare è stata magnifica. Il personale gentilissimo e professionale. Sorrento è diventata un pò chiassosa ma la struttura è un oasi di silenzio e di benessere.
Nulla. E' stato tutto perfetto, dalla camera al personale, dalla colazione alla piscina. Sicuramente da tornarci in coppia specialmente.

Clean and nice.
I feel they they tricked me into paying for an upgrade on a room I already had. They suggested it and showed me the room. When I asked to see my original room, he had to go back and talk to someone for awhile, not knowing a room to show me... then came out and showed me a really crappy room at the bottom that didn't even have the 2 beds they said they would give me. So I really feel they cheated me out of the upgrade. But the Hotel itself was awesome.

Location nice and quiet with lovely views over the coast. Hotel room size is ideal. Great air-conditioning in room. Lovely and clean.
Coffee and tea at breakfast was only warm. Disappointing following our trip from Rome where coffee was very nice.
Could have left some milk in the room each day. Whilst room service replenished coffee and tea daily they did not provide any more milk during our 5 night stay. So, other than these 2 minor issues everything else was excellent.
