Great stay after long flight to BHM
Pros:

Great location for our travel plans. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was well equipped with nice amenities.

It just was not a pleasant experience. I will avoid it in the future

Apparently recent renovation. Everything appeared to be like new

Cons:

It was a 6 story building and had only 1 working elevator and it was very slow. I don’t think it had been replaced with the rest of the equipment in the hotel. The air conditioner in the room was very noisy. The telephone in the room was not working. They did replace it. The street traffic was very loud. It would have been nice to have a tv schedule. The ice machine on our floor did not work and withtheellevator problem I had to walk down a flight of stairs to get ice

Dirty hotel with numerous maintenance issues.
Pros:

Good variety of snacks/wine/etc in the lobby.

Cons:

No WiFi or TV available for about 5 hours, A/C didn’t cool the room well, kitchen area dirty, toilet brush left on floor of elevator, only one elevator was working (other was broken), serving dishes at breakfast were broken and didn’t keep food warm (cold eggs, etc, for breakfast ), lots of unidentified sticky stuff on the back of the door to our room.

Excellent Stopover Stay
Pros:

We were passing through on our way to Miami for a cruise and stopped for the night. Faith greeted us with a war, friendly smile and even though she didn't honor my request to upgrade us to an oceanfront suite, she was amazing! She was friendly, helpful and very professional. The hotel is conveniently located and is very well maintained. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and all the furnishings were sleek and modern. The a/cart worked perfectly and kept us col and comfortable all night. The room was facing the interstate but was soundproof so we didn't hear anything and got a great night of sleep. The breakfast was among the best complimentary buffets I've had at any Hampton location. I highly recommend this location. I will definitely stay here again if I need a hotel while in the area.
