We did not stay.
Cons:

We did not stay because the room smells of mold and mildew. I know the hotel is being remodeled which is a good thing but the room we were going to be in was not safe to sleep in.

Cons:

The trash cans were dirty, the ceiling was leaking. We checked in on a Thursday and we didn't get our room cleaned until Saturday. Some of the breakfast wasn't fully cooked.

Friendly Staff but Hotel needs Makeover
Pros:

The staff at this hotel was extremely nice, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and genuinely seemed to care about providing good customer service, which made the stay more enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very worn out and showing its age. The rooms and common areas are in need of significant updating and a general makeover. There are signs throughout the property indicating that renovations are due to take place, so hopefully the hotel will receive the much-needed improvements soon.

Overall, the staff deserves high marks for their friendliness and service. The property itself, however, is in desperate need of renovation. Once the planned updates are completed, I think this hotel could be a much more appealing place to stay.
