Important information:

Please note that the maximum height of vehicles allowed in the parking garage is 6.2 feet.

Guests are kindly requested to note that the restaurant, bar and brasserie are open daily from 12:00 to 00:00 and the kitchen is open from 12:00 to 21:00.

The restaurant serves a special menu on the 24th, 25th and 26th of December. Reservations are required. Room service will not be available on those evenings.

All the rooms have climate control, no airconditioning.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Good location, the property needs refurbishment
Pros:

The location is very convenient next to the train station

Cons:

The room was smaller than advertised. The beds are not very comfortable, the window was small, and in general, the property has not been refurbished in ages. Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't try the breakfast. All in all, this is not value for money.

lovely old hotel across the water from Masstricht town but this is a lovely walk over the bridge
Pros:

Excellent location very close to the train station, superb value for money. staff were friendly.
lovely to have a pool in the hotel although could probably do with a face lift. We didnt have food in the hotel but many did so looked ok.
Would recommend the underground tunnels for an excursion

Pros:

Het hotel is gelegen naast het Maastricht Centraal, handig voor treinreizigers. Het monumentale oorspronkelijke hotel is een iconische binnenkomer voor de stad. Het personeel was vriendelijk en reageerde probleemoplossend toen we meldden dat de verwarming het niet deed en het koud was in de kamer.

Cons:

De badkamer heeft geen aparte douche. maar een badkuip. Als je wat minder flexibel bent een barrière. De douche in de badkuip was uitstekend en snel in te stellen.

Aan alles gedacht.
Pros:

Ruime kamer, leuke indeling met het bankje bij het raam, koelkastje, tv, koffie en thee, fijne bedden en douchespullen. De uittrekbare waslijn in de badkamer is geniaal bedacht. Aan alles gedacht.
Fijne sfeer in het restaurant en de hal, toplocatie ook.
Ik voelde me een keizerin in Hotel de l'Empereur.

Cons:

Niks, ik kom graag terug.

Als royalty geslapen in L'Empereur!
Pros:

kamer 305, torenkamertje, geregeld door de reeptioniste omdat mijn vriendin en ik al járen naar L'Empereur wilden! En het lekker warme zwembad. En het bad. En het matras. En de koffie en de thee. Allemaal fijn!

Goeie locatie, heerlijk ontbijt
Pros:

Hele goede locatie. Alles op loopafstand. Van buiten heel mooi pand. Goed ontbijt, leuke bar.

Cons:

De belofte van buiten wordt binnen niet heel erg waar gemaakt. Van binnen redelijk anoniem. Persoonlijk iets te “stuiterige” bedden.
