Good hotel with even better Hotel team.
Pros:

Normally a little wary of booking a Holiday inn because of some poor experiences in the past in older hotels. This was in a good location and easily accessible from the M6. Room was a good size, it was very warm and the room only had a fan, no AC. Hotel chains need to start to build including AC as the UK continues to have warmer summers. Buffet breakfast was tasty and convenient.
What really stood out was how great the staff on duty, friendly an really helpful.

The rooms were very hot and uncomfortable we had a fan but it just didn’t cool the room down just moved the warm air around. We kept curtains and window close to no effect.

A pleasant stay in a convenient location.
Pros:

We were impressed with all the facilities on offer. My wife found the bed a little to firm for her likeness, but this was a minor issue for a short stay.

Cons:

The rooms were quiet hot and would have benefitted from air con. However the staff did provide us with a fan on request which improved the situation.

Very good
Pros:

Booked for an overnight before travelling on to Birmingham Airport. Nice clean hotel with plenty of free parking. Spacious room with everything you need.
Handy to have 2 pubs within walking distance, we went to the Griff House (Beefeater) for dinner.
Good breakfast at Holiday inn, staff always cleaning area and restocking etc. It was busy as there was a gaming event on at NEC but we came down early and had plenty of time for a leisurely breakfast.
Provided with a fan which was needed as no air con and room was hot.
Would stay again 👍🏻
