The room was nice, the bed very good, and the lighting confusing, which I enjoy.

Cons:

I chose Holiday Inn specifically because a cooked breakfast was advertised, but the breakfast was a disappointing failure. I only want two things at breakfast; good coffee and fried eggs, neither of which were available.

The coffee was unpleasant, from a concentrated coffee liquid machine. The 'scrambled eggs' were made from powder; this is a deal breaker, please just don't do that.

I asked for a room with a bath, which they kindly provided, but on none of the 3 nights that I ran a bath was the water from the hot tap actually hot, it was always just warm. Again, the staff were super responsive but were unable to resolve the problem. The water from the shower was always hot.

An incredibly warm welcome by the lovely staff on reception upon arrival. They were attentive and kind to myself and my daughter, who they kindly wished well for her upcoming competition. The value for money was fantastic, well priced for comfortable and very clean rooms.
