We took a group of 30+ for 6 nights at the lovely Villa Campestri! What a great experience from our arrival to our departure. Owners Viola and Gemma could have not been attentive to our needs but they have such an amazing story. There are 2 different buildings minutes walking. We stay in the original area. It was built in 1222! The did a fabulous renovation keeping the charm of old but comforts of the new.
All top notch food, drinks and service. And as a huge bonus, they make their own olive oil and we were fortunate to see and taste the process. And Gemma performed an informative olive oil tasting. I could go on and on but I will say...We can't wait to go back!
Geweldige omgeving met vriendelijk personeel.
We kregen een upgrade van de kamer. Een hele grote kamer met uitzicht op de heuvels.
Diner was heel lekker met een lekkere lokale wijn.
Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid.
We spent siz nights in this historic villa and could hace stayed a month! The staff, the views, the room, the meals, and the opportunities to enjoy local farm traditions made our trip memorable.
Beautiful and romantic scenery, gourmet food, truly blissful place
Driving there is not super easy
It was cold in October and heaters didn’t work but this is not facility’s fault as it is centrally decided by government, nevertheless i got a cold (so pack very warm clothes if you plan to visit in fall & spring)
Super nice building and even more friendly staff
Hidden Gem in the Tuscan Hills on a beautiful estate. Beautiful building, spacious rooms with antique furniture and lots of space. Even when fully booked, it has a sense of privacy. Staff is no staff, Viola and team are owners giving you a sense of welcome and belonging. Food is marvellous. Breakfast on the terrasse in the warm autumn Sun and heavenly dinners. We initially planned to eat at different places in Tuscany but ended up eating at Villa Campestri every single evening.
Nothing. There are just a couple of things to note: Villa Campestri is located on a Hill with quite a steep, curvy road up. If you are faint of heart driver, do reconsider. It is not dangerous, but you need to watch for traffic. Also if you have small children prone to motion sickness, be aware. The house has rooms on the ground floor, you may want to ask for those if you have younger children or have restricted mobility as the stairs are steep and long.
Only even better if: the rooms could have better lightning... we found it a little dark.
Frühstück ausgezeichnet, Anlage sehr schön
Upgrade in eine sehr dunkle Suite war ungefragt. Wir hätten lieber das gebuchte Zimmer gehabt.
