Wonderful hotel near the port. The two pools and terraces were great for relaxing with family.
Pros:

Beautiful property overlooking the sea. We loved both pools but our toddler really enjoyed the lower one with beach-style entry. Delicious breakfast, pizza and dinners.

Cons:

Missed having a hot pot for coffee or tea.

Beautiful resort, stunning views, fantastic service and huge ocean view rooms

Cons:

Lack of lifts to the higher floors- soo many stairs . The dining experience in the evening leaves a lot to be desired - zero atmosphere - bright lights, no music, no ambience

Nice views, but didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. Room was sparse.
Pros:

Great views and nice pool and ocean daybed area. Location was conveniently a few steps from the bus stop and 15 minutes walk from Ischia Port

Cons:

The facilities feel a bit dated and not as nice as they should be for a 4 star hotel. Pool area is pretty sleepy.


The room had fully tiled floors which seemed weird outside the bathroom. Got dirty easily and was very loud when other people were moving around with shoes on in the rooms above us. The room was also severely lacking in furniture (1 tiny desk).

Pros:

This is such a lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, and the whole place has such a calm energy about it. The highlight for me was the private jetty right on the sea. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings.

Superbe suite avec piscine
Pros:

La chambre avec la petite piscine est idéale et superbe vue et très bien agencée. Hôtel très bien entretenu avec un un jardin magnifique ,deux supers piscines et très bon petit déjeuner . Je recommande.

Cons:

Les serveurs un peu trop pressé à débarrasser la table… mais vraiment parce qu’on a aucun autre point négatif.

un très beau séjour dans un hôtel que nous recommandons sans hésitation.
Pros:

Excellent séjour au Continental Mare, dans un cadre magnifique. La vue sur la mer et la côte d’Ischia est vraiment exceptionnelle, et profiter du jacuzzi privé de notre suite le soir, dans un calme absolu face à la mer, était tout simplement fabuleux.

Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié les deux piscines thermales, l’accès à la mer, la qualité du petit déjeuner, la propreté de l’hôtel et surtout la gentillesse du personnel. Un vrai plus également : l’hôtel a réussi à nous proposer une chambre jusqu’à 17h le jour de notre départ.

La navette gratuite pour rejoindre le port est très pratique. Seul petit inconvénient : sans elle, le retour à pied est assez difficile en raison de la montée et oblige souvent à prendre un taxi.

Cons:

Petit bémol également pour le restaurant du soir : cuisine correcte mais assez simple, avec des portions un peu petites au regard des prix.

A much needed reset
Pros:

The thermal pools were lovely my daughter loved them she swam all day. The views were impeccable, staff super friendly and attentive, and food on offer was fantastic. They have a shuttle service to the port which is a fantastic touch also!

Cons:

The stairs in the room scared me a bit with my 5 year old daughter incase she slipped.
