Thank you Ibis
Pros:

Value for price, clean, tidy, comfortable.. friendly staff. After our pre booked hotel fell through at another hotel chain and another location we were able to find accommodation here at ibis and we couldn't have chosen a better location.. Even better than our pre-booked hotel and therefore our stay in Melbourne was so much better

Cons:

Not enough dish washing liquid and no tea towel, also the beds were too easy to move with no locking wheels. I know such a small detail.. BUT as it is the only negative.

Probably wouldn’t stay at this hotel again
Pros:

Easy access

Cons:

Bathroom roof was mouldy, smelt musty and the fold out couch had crumbs and hair all through it. I let the staff know that we had 4 people staying and we only had 3 sets of bedding

Good location, good price, clean bathroom & space overall.

Cons:

No ammenities provided like toothbrush, we had to pay $2 for a small toothbrush kit that would usually be free in hotels. The sheets are clean but the pillows kind of smell.

I enjoyed my stay it was short but lovely. My first visit, I had a much more comfy room that I boast
Pros:

I enjoyed the breakfast. The location was perfect. Right in the heart of Melbourne so we could get to see a bit of the city just by walking.

Cons:

The pillows were too flat and the bed kept rolling away from its position... the wheels needed to be locked.

The staff were friendly and mostly helpful.

Cons:

We stayed 6 nights out of 7 in total with a day out on an overnight tour.
The common areas, lifts and laundries were dirty and did not get cleaned during our stay.
An old hotel which could do with refurbishment.
A sqeaky bathroom door took 2 days to get fixed.

An excellent spot downtown
Pros:

Location good. Breakfast included made it ok. There is not so much in terms of variety if sraying several days and the scrambled eggs on some days were not as nice in look and taste as others.

Not great housekeeping and lack of attention to detail

Great location. Easy to find. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Clean.

Cons:

Ignored by some staff on check in. We were a group of 4 female friends, so 2 bedroom plus sofa bed was very appealing. No bedding for the sofa bed. 1 face washer only. No bath mat. No tea towel in the kitchen. No extra toilet paper. 1 tiny milk for 4 people for 2 days. We went back to reception to get missing items, but shouldn't have had to. Fridge was so loud, no one could sleep on sofa bed anyway. Good service is not hard. Recent visit to Sydney, we were emailed to check bedding requirements and there was nothing missing. No Information card in the room re internet which was advertised as free.
