Male staff member without displaying ID let himself into my room "to do a check-out clean" 2 hours after I ch re credit in. He asked when I would be checking out. I told him that I had only checked in at 2pm and would be checking out the next day. Approx 50 minutes later he returned with a woman and asked when I would be checking out. He said he had been instructed to clean the room at 4pm. I pointed out that he was not wearing ID and that the only reason I answered the door was because the female staff member was displaying ID. I felt very unsafe.

Good location, not as fancy as the pictures make it out to be.
Pros:

Location was great, breakfast was great, staff were lovely.

Cons:

The room was ok… nothing like the pictures though.
And other guests leaving their rubbish outside their door near ours was not nice. Bins with dirty tissues overflowing, didn’t look very good for everyone to see tissues with some type of bodily fluid all over them.

Excellent value stay. Would stay again
Pros:

Good location and price for room. Good facilities. On the same street as Victoria market. Aldi around the corner for groceries. Breakfast a good selection of eggs and toast and cereals. Pancake maker was fun. Short walk up from a restaurant strip.

Location is great and staff are very friendly and helpful

Cons:

First room stuck of cigars, staff moved us to another apartment. Apartment was cold and we needed to request extra blankets. Didn’t get daily room service - which is expected for what we paid.

While I had a disappointing first few days, I did get to move rooms.
Pros:

It’s very close to CBD

Cons:

Broken heater, Disconnecting Wi Fi and shower head only sprayed half.

This would be out of the hotel’s control but quiet hours policy would be nice as there was teenagers running down the hallway, really loud and obnoxious people entering and exiting their rooms after 11pm. I
