Location was good and room was what we asked for

The room was what we asked for

Cons:

There was hair left in the room from previous people, there is no lift down to car park which made it extremely difficult to get luggage down to car, I was charged twice for 2 nights, waiting to see if this rectified before ringing to find out what is happening

Won’t stay there again.
Pros:

Distance to where we were going

Cons:

Room was just blah. No soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes. For the amount of money we paid I would at least expect that. One of the towels was filthy. There were only 2 pillows on the bed. I would expect to have two each. There was a long black hair on the toilet seat. The bins in the hallway were overflowing when we arrived and still overflowing and drinking when we left the next day. There was an awful smell of maybe 2 minute noodles in the hallway.

It was a basic comfortable room.
Pros:

Very comfortable beds, quiet location

Cons:

Back door to the courtyard was locked, and rubbish in the area outside. Would have liked to be able to open back door, to let cool air in during the night. Air conditioning couldn't be adjusted, was too hot, then too cold during the night.

Poor shadow of a once good hotel
Pros:

Not a lot. What was once a great hotel in a great area is sadly now a very tired 2nd rate hotel

Cons:

Only staying one night so booked a 1 bedroom apartment with 1 queen bed and 1 sofa bed. On check in we found the sofa bed was not made up. There were only 3 cups, glasses etc and 2 towels. We left the hotel for dinner and returned to find the sofa bed made up but only 1 pillow.
The bathroom cleaning was only just and I swear I was older than the sofa bed. It was very rickety and uncomfortable

Budget accommodation good breakfast, reasonable pricing.
Pros:

The property is fair for the price. It’s clean. The staff were really lovely and overly accommodating on really hot day.
Went above and beyond with a huge family coming it’s always a bit difficult staying in a new place but they made it so easy to get everything sorted. The cot was set up sheets were laid blanket and towel for baby !
They upgraded us and worked out a room on the same floor . This was more then we expected and we are truly thankful for there help.

Cons:

The property is exactly what it is. It’s budget accommodation. It’s clean. It’s tidy. It is not brand-new.
But we expected that and for one night stay it’s all you need.
