The staff were friendly, the property looked clean and breakfast selection was decent,
There was a horrible smell in the bathroom especially, I had to ask for air freshener as we checked in very late at night to ask for a new room. In addition, someone started knocking hard on my door at 9am in the morning. Given I had only slept at 4am, it made my stay terrible.

We were pleased with our overnight stay here, as we wanted a hotel close to the interstate. The evening front desk person was very welcoming and our room was very clean. Yes, as others mentioned, Esmeralda was helpful and cheerful at breakfast. There are a number of restaurants close to the hotel.
Not the best Hampton Inn I've stayed in, but the level of comfort and cleanliness was pretty much up to snuff for what I've come to expect from Hampton Inn. The main reason for this review is to acknowledge Esmerelda in the breakfast room. We were there the morning of July 24, 2026 - and she was a burst of energy and friendliness and could not have been more hospitable (considerably more friendly than what we had experienced at the front desk earlier). It's people like this who love their jobs and do so well at it that make us return to Hampton Inns - thank you, Esmerelda for sending us off with a great attitude!
The staff we interacted with were wonderful. When a problem occurred with our room, the front desk was quick to get us a new room. The breakfast was great. Also, the breakfast attendant was friendly, and she was constantly refilling and cleaning the area.

We like staying in Hampton Inns as they are clean, offer a hearty breakfast and often include a pool.
We could have used a stronger light behind the reading chair. We are not big tv-waters, so it took us some time to figure out the TV.
The bed was comfy.
There was some mold in the corner of the shower.
Pristine cleanliness, well kept, very comfortable beds, friendly staff, good location. Adjacent town of Clarion is worth driving through especially, go to County Seat diner.

Toilet was not clean.
Asked for a discount, was told they would check with management. Have not heard back from anyone. The room was too hot and an unclean toilet is unacceptable.
Breakfast was very good and the host was pleasant. Our room was comfortable and quiet.
