Beautiful place and we loved it!
Pros:

The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The outside was beautiful and very safe.

Friendly staff and comfortable accommodations.
Pros:

The front desk staff was very helpful when there was a slight mix up with my reservation and when we wanted to extend our stay. Also, got a recommendation to a great restaurant and advice on getting around the area.

Cons:

We stayed at 5 different hotels of similar rates during our week long trip in Virginia and this was by far the best one.

The PILLOWS WERE HORRIBLE.
Pros:

The eggs were not good. We are from the SOUTH and would have preferred grits instead of oatmeal!! The waffles were great! On Thursday morning we didn't like the menu at all and ate elsewhere. The potatoes were good also.

Pros:

Great staff, nice location. I stayed with my friend on 4/28/26. Michelle was super helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay because of her hospitality. It could be noisy at night if your next door had a loud TV. Michelle helped me to ask the person turn down the volume. Great breakfast, great coffee and tea section in lobby. Close to sight seeings with car. We used uber, not bad. The Amtrak station is not too far with Uber. If you can bear a little noise, it is great to stay there.

Noisy but great breakfast
Pros:

Lovely room and great breakfast but so very noisy from adjacent rooms as well as the corridor.

Unfortunately the shower was only luke warm both in the evening as well as the morning so the shower was not pleasant at all.

Breakfast was excellent and the redeeming factor.
