Parking was plentiful and free. Staff worked very hard in difficult conditions and were very welcoming and sweet to our little dogs. Hotel was very dog friendly apart from the £20 per night extra charge
No air conditioning in room but there was a fan.
No beer on tap very few wine choices.
Breakfast in the first day was poor but we were refunded for that the rest of the breakfast were average- no orange juice very few pastries short on basics
the evening meal choices were nonexistent. The Kitchen was out of everything apart from basic pasta. In the end we ordered an Uber eats two out of the three nights as we were no where near any other restaurants
This is our second stay and it was disappointing. It has the feel of a hotel about to shut down and saving money at any point it can. I feel sorry for the staff members who had a proper ear bending from many customers for the lack of facilities- something that was not their fault
It was just perfect…
Great quiet location…. Super staff
Daisy on reception was a hard working member of the team
With big smile 😃
I Only stayed for one night…
Would definitely book again
Well done guys
There was nothing not to like…🤠
The property was fairy clean
Tired and required updating. Toilet in room did not operate correctly. Constantly ran out of foods, waiting exceptionally long time for breakfast. Younger staff not trained in hospitality. Told by young staff that they could not take Scottish pound notes as it was not legal tender ! Bit of a Faulty Towers!
Conveniently located. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff.
N/A
Room for wasn’t ready at time of confirmed check in.
Poor range of drinks available at bar (no draft beers).
Room looked tired and in need of total refurbished. No A/c, mattress uncomfortable resulting in poor nights sleep. Only one member of staff who seemed to want to help! Breakfast poor.
Location
Doors bang all through the night need to change the way the doors close
Free parking and quiet surroundings.
Tired room with 1 flat pillow each provided.
Toilet didn’t flush properly and ‘gurgled’ all night.
No air con, fan provided but didn’t work.
TV remote didn’t work.
Windows had bird poo on them and cobwebs on windowsill.
Bathroom old and Lino yellow around toilet and very sticky!
Garden needs a tidy.
Limited breakfast choice.
Receptionist was on a break when we turned up and no one else could help us check in.
There are plans in reception detailing an upgrade. The hotel has a lot of potential, just needs some love!
In normal circumstances I'd say it's a perfectly reasonable place to stay for the money. The reason I'd give this -1 if I could was because a member of the hotel management team was using the room next door for a phone call. They were very loud and the conversation was easy to hear through the connecting door. Main problem was the conversation started about 22:30 and kept me awake until 01:30am at which point I had to shout at them to tell them to pack it in (which they did).
I have previously stayed here about 1 month before with no problems.
Having written all of the above I doubt anyone is going to read this anyway.
die Lage
das Frühstück, minimale auswahl , kein Obst
Nothing it was uninviting , and dirty
The cleanliness was appalling, it was mouldy and dirty. The carpets were stained , the curtains were mouldy , the shower and sinks were dirty and mouldy , even the lampshades were stained , and there was an awful smell , another thing is there was no extractor fan in the enclosed bathroom it had been taken out and replaced with a cover which is illegal in this country , everything about the hotel was dated dirty run down and no staff!!!!
Very difficult to find- it’s NOT near Bonney, the address is not easy to find on the website.
The property was okay.
When we came down for breakfast the staff said that they had had more guests than they thought and that they had run out of food. We were down half an hour before breakfast closed. We had virtually no breakfast. Disgraceful. Staff were perfectly pleasant but did not apologise. I told the girl on reception but did not go further because it was not her fault.
Good location for us and large room.
Dated decor. Bathroom fan did not work.
Outside our ground floor window was an exit which was covered in bird droppings from a nest above . Plus bird mess from nest on window.
Lots of parking
Staff gave everything particularly Daisy. Breakfast excellent.
Garden needs a strim . Move smokers bin away from entrance
Reception staff very friendly
I booked this hotel for my 94 year old mum, i assumed this would be a nice country hotel for her to stay at as she travelled from London rather than a chain of hotels, the room was a good size with a nice bathroom, bath not shower which she couldnt get into, they did put her on the ground floor which we asked for, the bed was so uncomfortable and when she mentioned this to the staff they just said that they have had lots of complaints and could only put a duvet underneath.
she paid £13 a night for breakfast which was cold, obviously been sitting out for some time, very disappointed in this hotel, i will never recommend to anyone or book again.
We only had breakfast on the last day good value for money, but as a tour had just left it took a while to replenish the buffet . The one member of staff in the restaurant was very pleasant & helpful
The bathroom looked tired & our friends in room 125 had an issue with the hot water on both days we stayed .
