Bed quite hard, food options limited but adequate. went elsewhere for 2nd evening
It is a little dated but it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was a bit haphazzard but apart from that all good
Clean room, comfy bed, good breakfast
Only one member of staff available to handle check in and bar service. I waited 15 mins for a glass of ice
Staff friendly.
A little tired, but clean & comfortable.

Reception staff were great
The bed was to firm for me.
All fine. Clean and efficient
Very friendly staff. Ser
Staff very friendly, pleasant and helpful
It was a nice stay but it wasn’t the cleanest, cob Webbs were all round the dining area and the food and drinks seemed to cost a lot which put us off eating there. The meals we did have were nice though. I think it just needs a bit of modernising.
The room was comfortable and clean although rooms were not serviced during stay. If you wanted beds made etc. you needed to hang a sign on your door. My room had no sign. As I was only there for two nights, this didn’t bother me except that milk and tea/coffee was not replenished.
Rooms were a bit dated, but a good size. Bathroom quite compact and it was awkward getting into the bath for a shower as I am an older guest and not very agile. Overall a nice place and very friendly staff.
The hotel is dated.and tired; the service is poor. Our non-smoking room was previously a smoking room, so it smelled like a working men's club from the 1970s. But worst of all, the price of the room was ridiculously expensive.
Breakfast was simply awful. Most of the full english had obviously been sitting on a hot plate for a very long time. Bacon was like rubber. One tiny wrinkled, tasteless sausage. My wifes scrambled egg was greasy and had a strange smell. It was so bad she couldnt face the rest of the breakfast.
Manager was full of apologies but refused to refund one breakfast.
Lovely room (at a good price). Getting the right temperature in the shower was difficult. The replacement of towels each day is not eco-friendly. The fact that the restaurant was not available on a Sunday evening was very inconvenient.
Good location
Very nice hotel with lovely staff on reception. The room was very big with a table and chairs and was in good decorative condition. What spoilt it for me was the noise coming from the next door room which went on until 1.30am.
