Lovely friendly helpful staff. However I booked an accessible room and because of its location it was extremely difficult to get my electric wheel chair into the room independently. Also would have been easier with a walk in shower other than the step in bath to shower
So convenient to get to local attractions. Service station next to it so helpful to grab food or bits for an easy stay! Would stay again if up that way!
This is what a budget hotel should be. Everything is clean, everything works. Plenty of hot water. All good.
No wifi at all while I was there. No shelves in room for clothes. No plug sockets by the bed, just USB ports which is terrible from a digital security awareness perspective. My card stopped working when I got back to my room & it took a lot to get the attention of staff on reception. They didn’t seem best pleased to help when they finally came out from the back.
You get what you pay for at this place ..the rooms are ok, the carpet could use a deep clean , the bathroon was clean , the beds were ok...the WiFi didn't work when I was there and thet said it was a BT issue. Asked for a partial refund as I wanted to work there but said that couldn't be done. Poor service as clearly it was in breach of advertising standards if the manager didn't happen to know. Couldn't be bothered to argue so left..stat here only if you absolutely have to and don't have other choices available
No elevator, No air conditioning, WiFi didn’t work, parking not convenient. No phone in room.
Awful
Hotel smelled damp
Was charged for parking
WiFi was completely down no time for being fixed
“Breakfast” was a voucher for an awful food stand in the services
I just stayed for a night as my work meeting got extended and need to stay late night . Looks like this hotel just build in couple of days before , so no internet facilities but Room and facilities looks all clean and good. its good stay for money which they charged.
Great place to break up your journey from the South Coast to anywhere in the North West. Clean and comfortable rooms.
I cannot rate this Hotel as I never stayed there. The Hotel cancelled my booking and Hotels.com were completely useless not finding me an alternative and leaving the cancelled booking on my account despite having refunded me.
The hotel was basic and that’s all one really needs from a Days Inn. However my booking had been changed to a different hotel due to it being flooded and closed, but no-one advised me of this, so I arrived at a closed hotel with no phone connection. No-one thought to call me to tell me.
The hotel we originally booked had been shut down and despite a sign saying guests had been notified by email, I had received nothing. Relocating to the other side of the service station wasn’t a major issues, but would have been handy to know for travel arrangements. The hotel was basic, and run down. Fine for an overnight stop I guess.
The property was shut due to flooding and they had shifted our booking to the opposite side a week ago with no communication to us. We were trying to reach the property 48 hours in advance to confirm our ETA. With no response of phone calls and live chat when we reached the property late in the night tired to read a notice due to flooding the site was shut and for us to contact another property for stay over. It was a terrible experience as we were travelling with a kid and wanted to make sure we had a place to stay overnight.
Good location at Welcome Break Center off M40. Recent flood had damaged some main floor areas but second floor units unaffected. Breakfast at the building next door. Paid parking unless booking directly.
Everything fine but I was genuinely shocked to have to pay £5 for parking. What a scam.
The hotel is good, but the problem is with the parking. The Expedia website mentions that parking is available, but I had to pay an extra 5 GBP for parking
Comfy bed. Room very cold when first entered, but heater had good controls so it got warm enough after a while.
The hotel was handy for our trip to Birmingham
Wished i had booked 1 night north and 1 night on the south side to avoid going up and down the m40
The bathroom extractor was very noisy & could do with some tlc
Also 2 large aluminium chimneys just outside our windows came on & off throughout our evening
